About the Business
Carovillese Lodge & Club, located at 570 East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue in Akron, Ohio, is a historic institution that has been serving the Italian community for over 98 years. As the oldest active private Italian Club in Akron, the Carovillese Club takes pride in its Italian heritage and hosts community events to celebrate and commemorate their shared background.
Founded in 1925, the Carovillese Mutual Aid Society was established to help immigrants seeking refuge in Akron during the 1930's and 1940's. Today, the club continues to be a gathering place for the Italian community and a reminder of Akron's rich cultural history.
One of the club's most popular events is their weekly pasta dinners, which have been a tradition for over 30 years. Open to the whole community, these Tuesday Pasta Nights offer a delicious and affordable spaghetti meal with a sauce recipe that has been passed down through generations of Carovillese members.

"We absolutely love coming to eat at the Carovillese Club on Tuesday nights. The food is delicious; like your itty bitty Italian grandmother made it. Which is a treat for me, because my grandmother was neither itty bitty nor Italian. The gentleman that serves as an order taker and doubles as a bouncer is incredible! He gave me his cupcake last week because it was my 40th birthday. You can't get much better service than that. Seriously if you're looking for some great Italian food that doesn't taste like it came from a can, or a place that makes you really feel like you're family, check this place out. ❤️"

"The venue was very nice the wedding went well but there is an employee there by the name of Mary-Beth that wanted us out by 9 when we informed her we had the hall until1am but could get the deposit back if cleaned by 11 we let her know that she informed us That we paid for the venue2 years prior and that it cost a lot more now which had nothing to do with us this lady is very rude and has poor customer service again this place is great its just the one person that works here 6-24-22"
