"James Cramton was there when I needed insurance in a rush situation. He was helpful and quick to answer any questions I had. I felt so confident in my Homeowners insurance that I changed my car insurance to Allstate as well! I would highly recommend James Cramton and Allstate Insurance if you are looking for extraordinary service!"

"Kinda sadHave insurance all your life never needed it just 1time way back. Windshield replaced that was it…….never a ticket my whole life….And the policy just keeps raising so I increased my deductible to get it lowered……Not even 6 months right back up…All in all just disappointing….why I ask why…..Good drivers get nothing…Iam ready to switch to the cheapest I can find….Just because this company doesn’t value my business…….Just very sad"

"James Crampton, at Allstate in Wilmington office was rude and unprofessional. He let his ego get in the way of new business. I received an online quote of more than $3600.00. Of course I was surprised, not a fair assumption at all. While expressing this in a text, he jumped to immediate conclusion that I should be dismissed. If you can’t even give me a fair quote James, then I’m sure you would be a disaster at filing a claim. Thank goodness there are other options for insurance."

"They were very quick about helping me with my claim and communicated with me throughout the entire process to make sure I understood what was going on and that I was well informed about the whole thing. I would highly recommend this insurance, and specifically this team, to anyone who asked me about them."

"I had Allstate auto and homeowner's insurance for over 10 years when Mr. Cramton took over my local agency. I was not notified when this happened and was surprised when I called and asked for my old agent. One day. I received a letter stating that my premium would be raised due to a new driver that was added to my policy. I immediately called the office and I was told "they would look into it." I called the 800 number after 2 days without a response and was told that I added "my son" to the policy. I don't have a son nor was I given a name of the person added to my policy. I was then told this person would be removed. I was happy at this point, until I received my bill for my premium a month later. It had increased $60 for this extra person. Still with no name, I called the local agency again, where I left a message. The office manager called and she was kind and understood my issue. She told me the issue would be taken care of. Unfortunately, I had already paid my premium in order to not have a late fee. After a week, I had the person removed, but I also had a name to that person. It was a person that was 30 years older than me but somehow, it was supposedly my son. With that person being removed, my premium went up, AGAIN! So, here was my problem. The premium increased when Allstate added a person without my permission AND the premium increased when I had them removed. I called Mr. Cramton's office and was constantly denied a meeting with him. I kept getting the runaround and told Mr. Cramton was out of town and couldn't take my call. After a few weeks, Mr. Cramton finally called me back and agreed to a meeting. He started out very arrogant and offputting. He and I walked through the entire situation and he was able to find the error. He admitted there was an error and assured me that he would take care of it. When the next premium payment was due, nothing had changed. I was furious. It wasn't until I wrote a post on social media that Mr. Cramton would contact me again. He tried to pay me to take the post down. It was upsetting, to say the least. I called the 800 number for help and Allstate corporate was absolutely no help. I talked to them for 10 plus hours, I'm sure surpassing the amount of time worth the overpayment of mine. I finally did what they wanted and gave up. In the end, 10 years, 0 missed payments, and endless referrals meant nothing to Mr. Cramton or Allstate. I ended up changing agents and eventually companies. Very sad."
