"The lady at dancers point is very rude, rushes you and dismissive. I have bought all types of dance shoes and dance wear for this shop for over 20 years for my daughter. With every location and transition the shop has made I have been a local customer. However it was not due to the customer service or the owners professionalism. Because it just doesn’t exist. However they are the only place in town to get exactly what the local dance studio’s want the kids to wear. They have good quality and selection and prices are not cheap but that’s what you pay when you need the color or style you need. If you have time I would order them off Amazon. However somethings you just have to grin and bare the rude behavior or the owner and buy what you need and get out. What we won’t put up with for our kids. This is a real review from a real customer."
"I love buying local and this shop is the epitome of what it means to support local businesses! It is very hard for me to find good shoes my size, let alone dance shoes, but the proprietor was very kind and very thorough, explaining pros and cons and letting me try multiple types of shoes, and she did have my size!I've had difficulty in dance shops in the past with very aloof and unhelpful salespeople and this was a refreshing change of both competency and kindness!"
"My experience here was wonderful! I’ll be taking my first ever dance class at 26 years old—something I’ve always wanted to do but never taken the opportunity, until now. Steve and Kathy were amazing and so incredibly nice. Steve helped me find the perfect jazz shoes to start out with. I will definitely be coming back. Highly highly recommend!"
"Wow! What an exceptional and beautiful experience at Dancer's Pointe! We live in Temperance Michigan and had been using another shop for years that closed. We didn't know where else to go and needed a last minute, one time fitting. Shame on me as a mama who never learned what size she needed and relied too much on the shop. Dancer's Pointe was so sweet, so careful and so considerate of our special circumstances with time limitations and covid concerns. I wish we had found them earlier in her dancing career. I would recommend to anyone who needs pointe shoes or more!"
