About the Business

Tigers Den Academy is a premier baseball and softball institution located at 7970 Whipple Avenue Northwest in North Canton, Ohio. Our facility boasts two 70 ft cages, one 35 ft cage, and a designated bullpen area, all equipped with retractable cages for versatile training options. We provide all the necessary equipment for teams to practice and compete.

Ohio Tigers Baseball/Softball offers teams for ages 10u-18u, competing in the Stark Summit Baseball League and Ohio Prospects League. Our experienced coaching staff and instructors set us apart, with a focus on individualized training for hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and more.

Our instructors include former collegiate and professional players such as Cole Morozek, Shawn Tyler, Greg Geiger, Joe Gonser, Max Stillisano, Paige Smith, Kaleigh Faith, Dave Faith, Danielle Pope, and Maria Prinzo. Additionally, Maria Prinzo serves as our trainer and speed/agility instructor, offering expertise in fitness, hydration, and nutrition for athletes.

Membership at Tigers Den Academy grants full access to our facilities from 10am-10pm, along with equipment usage and discounts on private lessons. Non-members can also benefit from private training sessions with our instructors. We offer lessons in hitting, pitching, fielding techniques, explosive running, and throwing.

"Winter workouts are great. Coaches know what they are doing and work great with the kids. The real issue is regular season. Equipment and uniforms are part of the fee, but once the kids receive the equipment paid for; they don’t get everything promised in the contract. Cole refuses to refund parents for the missing equipment and uniform pieces. A selling point he makes is the tournaments he is going to enter, many of those change when the season actually starts. He has scammed kids/parents out of money for years. Be aware!"

"My son has been doing lessons for a few weeks now at Tiger's Den and he absolutely loves it. They are encouraging but at the same time will critique and correct when needed. The instructors really seem to know their stuff when it comes to the game of baseball and have great drills to provide my son with the training and tools he needs to help him better his game of baseball. My son looks forward to going to his one on one lessons every week. He is excited about it and they are making him the love the game even more. All the coaches/ instructors we have had so far really seem to know their stuff and are extremely good to work with."
