"Forever thankful for the opportunities that Ohio Academy of Martial Arts has given me and the kids. It has taught us discipline, respect, self defense and so much more in just a short amount of time. We began our journey to black belts in September of 2022. We still have a LONG way to go to get a black belt, I have had conversations with my kids and we all have the same goal to reach one day. They enjoy it just as much as I do and it's hard to get them to enjoy something other than video games! With that being said, ALL the instructors there work with you on your level no matter what rank you are. They pull you aside to fully explain things to you, they break you up from others that are the same rank as you to make sure we are ready to move on. There is always something new to learn at each class. We repeat the same skills each day of the week and then move on to something else the next week. Although we go multiple days a week, we are constantly learning something new in ways to improve our selves. They help us build so much confidence and are always so professional and reassuring in everything. I'm so greatful for all the staff, instructors, and masters there. I couldn't be any more happier to attend class every day!"

They all work to make sure that they will be able to go to the next belt and feel accomplished, including getting the stripes of tape on their belt as they work on it each week.
