"unethical, Unprofessional, shady. I was in a horrible hail and windstorm last July - had photos and videos of my vehicle working fine as I was pulled over on the side of the toas sending to my kids. debris, branches, trees and hail were flying at my car. I went to avoid a tree falling on my vehicle and hit the ditch hard. my dog flew to the front and a screwdriver flew from the back and punctured my skin. I heard a boom under my vehicle when I hit the ditch. to this very day, Bristol West, under the Farmers Insurance Insurance Company, will not cover my accident and shifts me around, doesn’t reply and won’t accept any responsibility, trying to claim it was prior damage!!!! do not - I repeat DO NOT insure your vehicle with Bristol West! worst insurance company I have ever seen--"

"Terrible! Worst experience ever! My husband and I had auto insurance as family for 2 cars. Then my husband’s car’s engine was broken. Bristol West said that ‘’ we don’t have coverage for mechanics, engine.’’ So, he has cancelled the his car insurance on 01/31/2024. Now, just I have insurance from Bristol West. But next month, company has charged full amount from me on 02/12/2024. I asked them for a return which is already cancelled car. They said NO! They couldn’t make adjustments and apologized! What??!! Are you kidding me? Why I am paying for already cancelled car insurance which is we don’t drive. This company is a joke. If I knew, I would never paid them. I will cancel all the my policy immediately. Stay away!"

"I have had the worst of worst experiences of my life with Bristol West. I would love to give them a zero. It’s been so much confusion on my policy that is crazy. I don’t even know where to begin… if you are considering them run. I don’t even have the energy to type all the concerns and wrongs they have done. I feel like all the reps hate their job and truly do not have any qualifications to answer any questions you ask. They can’t even explain the inflation of auto insurance from their company. They raise the price whenever they feel like it."

"I had my first 6 months with them were fine, with my renewed policy I have found nothing but issues. I pay my bill early which apparently they have an issue with. They do not renew your policy until that day so do not expect to have a new card when your policy renews because why would they provide that have a paper saying it's active. Finally processed the payment that they hid and still demanded money. I paid my second payment as usual. And then was balancing my checkbook and realized my bank account stated they refunded my money. My payment is due in 10 days but I'm finding out because of my bank not them that it's not paid because it kicked back. If I'm having this much issues with just trying to pay my bill I don't even want to know what it is like to get them to pay a claim if I ever had to use them. Please do yourself a favor and go with someone else. The call service is a joke and if you need a manager they will ask if they can call you back and won't when you call back they still won't transfer you to one. They customer service representatives don't know what's going on. It's a nightmare to deal with this company."

"Wish I could give zero stars. HORRIBLE SERVICE! It is a nightmare getting a real person on the phone to help you. Oh and when you do, they will make you restate and reconfirm your address, birthday, policy number, and last 4 of your social security number at least twice. The automated system does it and the second you get an agent on the phone you get to start all over. The agents are abusive and put you on extremely long holds for unnecessary reasons. Then when the call is picked back up I have to start over with a new agent and re state all my information. This company is not interested in helping anyone. Absolutely overpriced and unreliable. Been with them for 2 years and paid $160 a month for liability. Such a joke. I was also covered for roadside assistance and when I locked my keys in my car I was apparently not covered for reimbursement for getting a tow truck to unlock my door for me. The second I could leave this insurance company I did. I was up to date on all my bills and they still tried to charge me $30 for no reason, which I called and disputed. I would not recommend this sham of a "company" to my worst enemy."
