"My company works with their to administer our benefits. When the year began, I discovered that my debit card through CDB wasn’t working to pay for a medical expense I have paid for the last year. Apparently, there was an issue in plan set-up this year, though I only found this out by talking with my company’s HR department. I can’t use the debit card and this the primary way I’m meant to use my workplace’s healthcare benefits and access my FSA dollars. I’ve found working with CDB to be fine when I reach out with questions but there’s some major improvement needed in the upfront communication. Their website and app also aren’t the easiest to navigate so that adds difficulty."

"Phenomenal team of helpful, knowledgeable, patient human beings. There’s nothing fun or wonderful about insurance and navigating the system ESPECIALLY here in Southern California. It’s infuriating how little providers are willing to do to follow up with your out-of-state insurance. The onus is always on the patient to prove, verify, and follow up multiple times…just to be told, “sorry, we are not in network with your insurance company” I have had the pleasure of talking to their agent, April, on multiple occasions and she has patiently and thoroughly guided me through these difficulties and produced excellent results for me. What a Godsend! April has even taken the time to contact MY providers and assure them they are, in fact, contracted with the network. These billing offices can’t even do their due diligence for their clients. It’s unbelievable! With Blue Cross/Blue Shield getting a human being on the phone to guide you is tough enough…but getting to the same person AGAIN is unheard of! Thank God for these smaller, “concierge” type companies that take such pride in what they do. They are always reachable and the service is impeccable. Excellent customer service from stellar people!!! Thank you!!!!"

"Website isn’t super easy to use. To submit a claim, you can only upload 4 documents per claim. So if you accidentally paid a medical bill in a bundle they will request a breakdown which I had 5 documents and needed to email the people directly each attachment. Took extra long because of that issue"
