"Personal Perspective from a lifelong Marion resident: Seems like the better place for pizza in Marion Ohio. The pizza crust is awesome hot out of the oven, then my opinion is it becomes somewhat tough when it's cold which can lose points for the toughness in texture. Sauce is good though. I think slightly sweet like most Ohio square cut pizza places. For Marion it's a good solid recommendation. I don't eat in, but the pizza appears to be much better looking dining in too so don't pass up if that's your thing"

"We hadn't tried Payne's before. So a couple of weeks ago we decided to. We have ordered from there 4 times! The service is awesome! The amount of food you get for the price is awesome! I got a chef salad and it had so much of the add ons that every bite of lettuce had something else with it! The best chef salad I have ever had! This has become our favorite place!"

"Manager/owner is extremely rude. Also feel the community cons for free pizza. Our crust was dry and didn’t have extra cheese and since some was are he can’t replace it because he has a business and kids witch means he can’t give free pizza out to all the liars although the pizza was paid for and the call was the same day. Don’t eat here he has no regard for customers and even said he can’t pass so called free food out because of scammers so in order for him to run his business better stop ordering and maybe he will think about his costumers so he can run a good business"

"This is my first time eating at this place and I got the lasagna. The breadstick was pretty disappointing and the salad was a little upsetting as well. The lasagna was burnt around the edges a little bit, but it was still really good."

"I ordered a Stromboli and it was on a bun instead of a crust folded over the toppings. The bread was so hard around the edges that it couldn't be eaten. When I called to complain they hung up the phone on me. There was very little pizza sauce and very little cheese on it. I don't recommend anyone to order or eat here. My mother ordered cream of broccoli soup and she got melted cheese with just a couple little pieces of broccoli in it. The soup was disgusting to even taste."
