"Awful first experience Made a appointment for both of children a few weeks ago, today was appointment day. Took off work and drove an hour away for a waste!!!!! When I called I specifically asked if they took our insurance (Humana) the girl helping said yes! Took all of my insurance info over the phone and scheduled appointment etc. I arrived today and the lady at the front desk said sorry your insurance is out of network and I had a balance to pay. Excuse me? Very misleading! Seems like the staff I talked to needed to inform me of that instead of telling me other wise AHEAD OF TIME!!! Please be advise to make sure they take your insurance before hand unless you want to pay out of network prices! Never again even if we get different insurance and sea of smiles is in network, such a bad look."
"We had a great experience at Sea of Smiles today. The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, positive and kind to our children. They were quick and efficient, yet thorough and took the time to answer any questions while educating our kids (and us) on how they can best take care of their teeth. Our boys were patients previously, but we had to leave due to insurance reasons at the time. So, happy we were able to come back!"
"We are so grateful for Dr. Sarah, the amazing hygienists and front office staff at Sea of Smiles! Everyone is patient, kind and accommodating. The hygienists always explain the cleaning process to my child, show him the instruments, walk him through each step and take their time with him. Dr. Sarah has a calming presence and she is just so nice!! The happy visits are a great way to get special needs kids accustomed to the building, staff and whole experience. We also love Bob! He has a very gentle approach to working with special needs kids who need some extra support at the dentist."
"I am honestly just amazed at the level of courtesy and professionalism here. We called on a Thursday and got in the following Monday. Dr John sat with us in the room and thoroughly explained everything we needed and it felt personable and not rushed like we were just another patient. From the architecture inside to the games and toy machines, you can tell they cater to children and have a complete understanding of what makes them feel comfortable. The lobby looks like an aquarium and immediately my child was excited, which I’m sure is exactly what they were going for and they nailed it. We are so happy to be patients here!"
