"Sarah, Every day I work at Massillon Foot I get the privilege of hearing what an amazing podiatrist Dr Stoddard is from our patients not once or twice a day, but throughout the day. I can honestly say that so many of our patients are so much more than just ‘patients’ to us…they are our friends, & some are like family. It’s unfortunate you interpreted our conversation as a negative experience. If I was able to finish my sentences, I would have been able to be clear what the options were to help you. I understand being in pain can be very frustrating, but it is not fair to take it out on staff. We wish you well Ms. Smallwood. Laura"

"Dr. Stoddard was very polite and professional, as well as his office staff, while in the office for a minor procedure. In fact, I originally raved about the staff. However, when the pain did not subside 17 hours after procedure, and then calling the office about my concerns about a possible underlying issue, my experience completely changed. My take home instructions state to contact them immediately if pain does not subside after taking Tylenol. I called to ask if I needed to be reseen or if there was something else further I could do, I was treated with disrespect. I was immediately told they could not call in any narcotics. I stated I was not asking for narcotics, I am concerned about the pain and if there is an underlying issue - as well as the fact I cannot walk nor go to work and would need a note for my employer - again the woman on the phone stated she could not call in any narcotics. When I stated again I was not asking for narcotics, I feel I need to be reseen per the instructions and she repeated herself for a third time and stated the doctor wouldn't be in office until the following day since he is working at a different facility. I asked for her name, which she gave the name of Laura Stoddard, to which I then stated, "Oh so you are his wife or a family member" and very aggressively she stated she was his wife and they could call in some other type of prescription, to which I again reminded her I was NOT looking for a prescription, I felt I needed to be RESEEN and since they were unable to grant my request I would go ahead and take myself to the ER to ensure there wasn't a real issue going on with the area of procedure. I am completely blown away with the way Laura Stoddard spoke to me, the fact she didn't offer to contact to doctor to get further instructions on what to do, and did not once acknowledge my concern for a possible issue or infection. I would think taking care of patients and their well-being would be more important. For this reason, I will be looking for another podiatrist completely!"

"I give Dr. Stoddard foot & ankle clinic a five star and highly reccommend him, because one day, both of my feet and ankles were in a lot of pain. I could barely walk and did not know what was wrong. In the time of an emergency on his off day, he allowed me to come into the clinic to get treated. He is friendly, very professional, and most importantly, Dr. Stoddard cares about his patients and He gave me excellent treatment and Dr.s advice and he also has a wonderful team working alongside with him. I have not had that pain since. Thank you Dr. Stoddard and staff. I am forever grateful... Hannah"

"The doctor is great, I really liked him. His office staff is the pits. I ordered my diabetic shoes in March, 2017 and am still waiting to get them. I have been in contact with the office staff four times since ordering the shoes and I had to contact them as they seem to have forgotten me after each call or personal visit. The attitude I got today was that I was bothering them. I apologized today for expecting to receive the shoes my insurance has already paid for and told them I would try to find another doctor so as to not bother them anymore. *This documentation is posted on an innocent bystanders computer as I am computer illiterate."
