"Incompetence, incompetence, incompetence. My mom came to this office to get paperwork for her new employer, and the physician knew this before seeing her. Despite getting a negative vibe as soon as she walked in -- the receptionist was mean, dismissive, and rude -- she opted to stay because she needed to complete this documentation to start work. She had an allergy test done by a brutish and heavy-handed medical assistant, who jabbed her carelessly without warning until her entire upper arm swelled. Someone with such a horrendous bedside manner shouldn't be within 10 feet of another human being at their job. When she told the doctor she was in pain from this (a procedure she's had done painlessly several times before), all he said about the welts is that they'll be "gone in a couple of hours." It is now a WEEK since the appointment and they are still purple and bruised from this assistant's negligence. The doctor told her that she needs a detergent test, and they scheduled her to come back. She was clearly traumatized and didn't want to return. The receptionist told her that they can scan and send the documents she needs in a few days. Days pass. She calls again, and they tell her they'll send the paperwork tomorrow. She calls AGAIN -- and now suddenly they "need to see her before they release the paperwork" -- AKA, they want to charge for another visit after promising to get the documents to her. If you are running an office where you're lying about what you're capable of providing -- much less hiring people who are better suited to work as lumberjacks -- you aren't focusing on patient-centric care. This experience was careless and barbaric since the first moment. If you can't fill out documentation, don't promise that you will. Don't decide that you want to hold the papers hostage until you charge for another visit. And above all, don't lie about anything. If he really needed to see her again, what this doctor could've done (instead of endlessly prolonging the process and lying) is simply spend 3 minutes on a courtesy call and explain. But there is no way we even expected this bare minimum of care after her experience there. Won't be returning here. Would caution patients to look elsewhere."
