"Dr Levin is great! Dr Taylor referred me to him after discovering my ACL had torn in a sports related injury. His staff was able to get me in quickly and he worked to create a surgery plan that worked with me. I'm 2 weeks into recovery now. Surgery was the easy part, which he did great. He talked me through everything prior, and again in my post op appointment. He's set clear expectations and has treated me woth compassion at every interaction. He's a great doctor!"

"My mom's Primary Care physician recommended Dr. Alan Panteck for a wrist injury that wasn't healing, causing my mom pain and discomfort. This doctor is the most arrogant egotistical doctor I have ever met. This doctor should not be treating the elderly and especially not anyone with dementia. He walked into the room and stated "Her wrist isn't broken, what do you want me to do?" He asked me if I knew why I was at his office. I replied that I was there to get some medical help for my mom. He proceeded to tell me that I was there because my mom's doctor didn't want to tell me that there wasn't anything he could do for her injured wrist. That I was sent there to pretty much shut me up. After explaining what he perceived to wrong with her wrist. He stated that MRI'S are expensive and he wouldn't waste the $800 on someone who was 73 and has dementia. I was completely taken by surprise and disgust at how little compassion he has for the elderly. He grabbed my wrist to show me where her injury is. I told him I understood him the first time he told me. I couldn't believe a doctor would be so condescending and speak to me as if I were a child, uneducated or mentally impaired . I left the office disgusted that a doctor wouldn't have any respect or concern for the elderly. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone! This was a horrible experience. All my Mom's UH doctors have been great up until this point. After calling back her primary care doctor he recommended taking her for an evaluation with UH PT. They were great with my mom in the past -helping her with balance and muscle strengthening. Hopefully they make up for what Dr. Panteck is lacking."
