"I used to absolutely praise this clinic. I thought their prices were fair, their staff was competent, and they were reasonable with their scheduling options. My opinion has changed in the past year. Two separate vets failed to diagnose a simple issue that a google search ended up answering. Their hours of operation have become more limited than they used to be which makes it almost impossible schedule without missing work. Not to mention the fact that they jump at any tiny opportunity to charge you. They have added more charges for visits with techs that they did not used to have. And the biggest reason I am unhappy with their services: in August I was told my cat was fully up to date on vaccinations until August of 2024, come to find out they missed the fact that he needed his FeLV shot in October. I didn't know any of this until another clinic where I am boarding my cat informed me. This is a significant thing to miss, and it is in my opinion unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to detail. Given also the fact that they're booking appointments out months and months in advance, I would just save your time and money and find another clinic."

"Very unprofessional place. Had a appointment for 8am which is also when they open but waited a hour AFTER I dropped my already scared dog off and let her sit in the cage for a hour before calling me and telling me the vet won't be in today. So your professional vet didn't call off of work a hour before opening? Instead a hour already into the shift? If I were to cancel I'd be penalized but now I'm off work to take care of my dog that didn't even get the surgery costing me time and money. I will not be returning and will be making sure all my friends and family are well aware of how they run business here. Do better people!"

"We found a tiny sick kitten and needed to get him in asap. MetroPet was able to get Sam in and treated him immediately. A few months later, and you would never know how little and sickly he was. It's still curbside at this time, and he needed some treatment this last visit, so the vet emailed me a long detailed letter on what to do. They called today to check on him and see how he is doing. I know that even though I'm not in the room, they treat him as if I am. I recommend MetroPet to anyone."

"Five stars is not enough. Y’all, I live in Cleveland Heights and they are in Berea. Why would I travel 40 minutes across town when there are dozens of other vets I could go to? Because this is the very best veterinarian office around. I had been using another vet for my dogs for years, but came here once on a recommendation for my turtle. One experience with Metropet was all it took for me to switch all my pets’ care to here. Every person I’ve ever encountered here is wildly compassionate and loving both to my sweet doggies (and turtles) and to me. I often am moved to tears while my pets are receiving care, because of the kindness of every single person on the staff.
