CareFirst Urgent Care - Winton Rd

"The female who works the front desk, is not professional. The last two times I've been there, she only points at the bar code on the glass, to check in. She doesn't greet you, after you greet her. Furthermore, I've also overheard her, speaking about another patient to someone else, behind the counter. The medical staff though, are professional. That woman at the front desk, is ghetto and rude."

"My coworker and I came across the street due to a work injury. My coworker cut the tip of her finger off And one of the nurses came around to take a look, and I mentioned that the rubber bands that were put around her finger to stop. The circulation should come off, and the nurse agreed, but just sat there and looked at us. I ended up having to take it off myself because she was not taking the initiative to do so so I have blood all over my hands. I had to ask her if I could use their sink she was not going to offer at all. She brought my coworker ice cubes to put in the rag she had with her hand And the woman told her to wrap it up and apply a lot of pressure but again the woman Would not help her do it So again, my coworker, and I had to do it ourselves. It was just like she did not want to touch it. She was more concerned about the blood dripping onto the floor, which was the only thing she seem to comment on When my coworker would move her hand. We had to go to a different Urgent Care anyway, because Worker’s Comp. wouldn’t cover it there But I am glad for that because the nurse did not want to do anything and seem to not want anything to do with the situation. I should not have had to do either of those things being I am not a nurse and she is. I just felt it was unprofessional and she wanted nothing to do with it."

"The female at the desk began talking about "The provider" as if I knew what she meant. I had no idea that's the term the office uses to describe the Nurse Practitioner. She was abrupt, and; in my presence she was talking about another client. The rest of the staff was very nice, and; professional. I would give them 3 stars."

"Very unprofessional. Don't know the name of the person I saw or if she was a dr, or what. Tested me for covid and was in such a big hurry to leave didn't give me mt test results until I asked. Didn't give me a diagnosis until I asked. In fact, other than telling me she was sending in prescriptions, she told me nothing until I asked. Never bothered to ask if I am allergic to anything, which I am. Second time I have been here, but after this time, I may try again, but if I see this same woman, I'll walk out"

"It was a Sunday afternoon and there was no other clients when we arrived. The checking in process is slow, all done on your cell phone. If this was urgent that would be terrible as it took us 15 minutes to check in. However, once we checked in the staff was friendly and the female nurse practitioner was friendly, anf very, very helpful. Great bedside manner. Took extra time and besides the treatment have great advice."
