OhioHealth Urgent Care Dublin 6905 Hospital Drive, Dublin, OH 43016

"I am a healthy 28 year old. I arrived at the urgent after having shooting stomach pain for several hours, as well as feelings of nausea. When I was in intake, I let them know that my apple watch had been going off all day, alerting me to a high or dangerous heart rate. I told the provider that I thought I could have appendicitis. After getting a list of all my symptoms, the providers at this location told me there were two possibilities: I was pregnant, or I had covid. I have been pregnant before and knew it was not this, and laughed at the suggestion that my severe stomach pain was potentially being explained as "covid". At the suggestion of one of the nurses on staff, I went to the OhioHealth freestanding emergency room in Powell and was later diagnosed with appendicitis and admitted to a local hospital that night to have emergency surgery the next morning. Please be careful when going to this location! If I would have left and listened to what the providers at this location were telling me, my appendix could have ruptured and who knows what would have happened at that point."

"I showed up 10 mins before close (yes I know, super annoying, especially around the holidays) but I don't know the area and I'm not local at all, was just out shopping. . .figured this would be better than waiting in the ER, I hobbled inside because my ankles are the size of softballs and I'm not really sure why, looking online only scared me into going to the doctor in the first place, because it was talking about all kinds of heart diseases.... So the receptionist gave me a real long look over before I just simply asked if I could be seen because my ankles are swollen as can be and she gave me the dirtiest look and said nope we saw our last patient at 8:20 and we will not be seeing anybody 3 mins before close .... So I just turned around and she was like sorry about that and I was just like yeah, thanks, merry Christmas to yew too... It wouldn't be that big of a deal except ...it really is urgent ...and I understand they want to get home too, but what's the point of being open till 9pm if yew stop seeing patients when it's convenient for yew. Totally annoyed ... But if it were a family member of her own ...bet she would have had no problem at all letting them come in. So rude."

"I would not recommend this place. My daughter was there after hurting her foot. The doctor aggressively moved all her toes causing her extreme pain, took a X-ray. Told her it wasnt broken and left. The next day she saw on my chart that her big toe was broken. She called back to find out what to do and was told the doctor isn't on duty but could pay to see another doctor."

"We went there at about 8:40 and I understand they close at 9 but they decided to still check me out which I thought was a very nice and kind of them but I was wrong I went because I thought I broke my big toe, the doctor took 5 seconds to look at it, took and X-ray then came back a few seconds later said it’s not broken, they were just trying to get us out fast and rushed it they didn’t even bandage it or anything but when the radiologist read in the morning it actually was broken. I am very disappointed with my care."

"I do not look forward to going to any doctor or urgent care. Been like this as long as I can remember. Today I saw Doctor B Hollingsworth. I cannot express my appreciation for how detailed, kind and genuine he was. He really listened to me talk about all of my concerns and acknowledged everything I said and every question I had. Beyond easy to talk to. Great sense of humor but also very gentle and caring. If he had been my first few doctor experiences I would always look forward to coming in when I didn’t feel well. I will be sure to ask for him next time I come."
