"I left the review previously and I wanted to give an updated one. Dr. Tornick is an exceptional physician who truly cares about his patients. He and his office staff will go out of their way to assist with your medical needs. His bedside manner is five star. I know that he no longer accepts insurance, but I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the services that are offered. A simple $80 fee will get you A+ service. His medical care is the way it's supposed to be, genuine and trustworthy."

"The Docs at Tornik family medicine are the greatest people. Their team is fantastic. They are attentive and caring. By far and away the best medical care I’ve received."

"I have driven over an hour ONE WAY to be a patient at Dr. Tornik's office for the last 5 years, and my child has been a patient since birth. Dr. Tornik and ALL of his NPs have been patient, understanding and compassionate throughout my time with them. I have never felt rushed or judged during my appointments, even as an anxious, young, single new mother with many concerns. Dr. Tornik himself is very compassionate, intelligent and goofy in a way that makes him relatable and very easy to talk too. It is easy to tell he prides himself in the care he provides as a physician. This reflects in his work and in his excellent choice of NPs and nurses in the practice. I genuinely have loved every minute of my time at his practice and have felt so fortunate to have health care providers who listen, take the time for me and CARE. I had planned on continuing my care at this practice for the remainder of my life. The 4 star review is due to a new policy that states his office no longer accepts ANY FORM of insurance as of December 2022 (aside from military insurance). Every visit is now out of pocket. While I do understand there is many logistics that take place behind the scenes between health care provides and insurance companies, and I do sympathize with the practice wanting to stay afloat. The sad reality is that this new policy will exclude many people, including myself and my child, from having the opportunity to receive quality care AND continuity of care from this office. Because my inability to pay for a visit, a lapse has occurred in my prescription refill, as I need a reassessment from a provider at this office before they will renew the prescription. As a result, I had to abruptly discontinue my SSRI's and it has had a profound impact on my mental health. I am on the hunt for new primary care provider, but in the meantime I am without this medication. The hunt for a new primary care provider proves difficult, as it is challenging to find a practice that compares to the quality of care I received at Tornik Family Medicine. It has been very sad and disappointing to have to say goodbye. I do recommend this practice wholeheartedly to those who can afford out of pocket care. Please consider offering a sliding scale for lower income patients in the future. I wish Dr. Tornik and his staff all the best."

"We love Dr. Tornik! He has just the right balance of philosophy between modern medicine and natural ways to strengthen and heal. He always takes plenty of time to listen to concerns and connect with us as a family. I question a few of these other reviews if they are reviewing the right place. Like the person who has been taking her child there for 6 years and has never seen Dr. Tornik? She claims she has only seen a nurse practitioner. We have been taking our kids there for almost 5 years and have never seen a nurse practitioner! He's always there, never rushed and ready to listen."
