"Food was excellent! Thank you! I wish I could say the same about the service. We had two servers that struggled with every aspect of their job. Slow service all night, was told the Valentines dinner came with two sides each and they brought out one side. When we mentioned it, they agreed but never brought out the other sides. Was told $250 for the special but the bill was $263??? One person received dessert 15 minutes before the other? Asked for an espresso and they said right away and never got it? We pay $390 for dinner and could not return knowing they charge a premium but simply can't deliver. Took 30 minutes to ask for and pay our bill. Update: The GM of the restaurant called me to learn more about the evening and apologize. I thought that was a really nice touch and showed they care so I updated my rating."

"Love the speakeasy theme. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Was there tonight to meet up with some of my former college friends who where in town and we really appreciated the attention we received. We were also impressed by the membership lounges and theater rooms. Definitely a great location for a date night, client meeting, office happy hour/dinner, or even a birthday party. A must try in Akron!"

"I came to Akron for a comedy show and found Alexander Pierce on google. The reviews looked great so that’s where I decided to book our reservations for dinner before the show. The restaurant is tucked away behind what looks like a hotel or apartment building (unsure it was dark). Parking was super easy. It almost gives speakeasy vibes, which I thought was really cool. There are some interesting things on the menu but also your classics, which I decided to go with. Our server Rebecca was incredibly informative and never missed a beat. There were a plethora of specials from drinks to appetizers to entrees to desserts and she made sure we did not miss out on knowing about any of it. I never went without a fresh cocktail and I hardly ever did not have a plate of food in front of me. Everything was timed perfectly, cooked to perfection, and fresh. If I ever need to come back to Akron, I would definitely visit Alexander Pierce."

"Had such a wonderful experience here. From the second we walked into the door. Our waitress Rebecca was WONDERFUL, she knew the entire menu and specials and explained their every detail. They knew we had to leave by 7 to be somewhere and made sure to make that happen. The vibe is wonderful, like a 1920s speak easy. The drinks were also so good. Best steak and seafood I have ever had. I highly recommend."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and were looking for a new place to go. We had wanted to try Alexander Pierce for awhile, so we finally decided to do it. And boy were we pleased! From the second we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and everyone wished us happy anniversary. The hostess was helpful after the meal too and took pictures for us. Very pleasant! We were seating in a nice half round booth and were taken care of by Julie and Lisa. They were very attentive without being overbearing. They helped walk us through the menu, specials and even making food and drink recommendations. All were on point! We started with a few cocktails and the Naomi martini was fantastic! Such a unique drink! Julie told us the story behind it and it made it even better. We also had the Aztec old fashioned and the blackberry lemongrass martini. They were refreshing and delicious. We ordered the double cut pork chop with a loaded baked potato which was huge! The candied bacon on the potato was a game changer! The bourbon and fig glaze was amazing! We also ordered the bruschetta chicken with the special whipped potatoes which were roasted red pepper this week. It was a perfect combination. The French onion soup was good. And the house made white French dressing was great too! For dessert we had the baked Alaska which was a special experience. The chef comes out and flambés it at your table. So cool! And it was a pretty unique dessert that we are glad we had! Overall the price point was very reasonable for the items we ordered! Thank you for the delicious meal and experience. We can’t wait to come back!"
