"Went in off-season, February. Ordered Brisket Dinner with baked beans and red potatos. The brisket was very disappointing. It was riddled with fat and had little smoke flavor. I Couldn't even drown it in sauce since I didn't like any of the odd house sauces. The baked beans were good, but pretty much Bush's straight from the can. The red potatos were very good, the corn bread was good, and the view was nice. I may come back in season for the atmosphere and try the pulled pork."

"1st visit in summer: Nice place to unwind with beachfront feel. Walk down into restaurant. Waiter (fresh from Florida) was friendly and sociable and offered great service while working alone. 2nd visit: I ordered a gibbet sandwich. Don't do this.. It was cold in the middle. ok this can happen.... I had it reheated and bit onto it; just to get a piece of broken bone stuck in my tooth...oh; this bone is boneless??? Until it's not. I no longer had the confidence or the appetite to eat any further. I politely boxed leftovers and left. The waitress was sweet. She made this visit bareable."

"Waited an hour for someone to even acknowledge me and my date, so we got our drinks paid for. Said they were “running low on fries”. Did not try to offer us any other side with our sandwiches and we still paid $26 total for the food. Terrible service and experience."

"Great venue located right on the water. I ordered the brisket dinner. The food was pretty good. A little on the pricey side but you are paying for location. Nice patio sitting right next to the water. Parking can be a little tough if they are busy. The atmosphere is wonderful. Nice selection of beer and bourbon."

"Lunch, Sunday - on the deck... I've been through many iterations of this location - happy to see this place. That said - had brisket, turkey, and sausage, plus wings... Brisket, turkey, and sausage were all on the dry side - still flavorful (sausage best of the three) - but dry. Green beans were great, Cole slaw good - but the star of the show, aside from the dock seat - were the wings... had to go to the bar for Tabasco (if you serve wings - figure out a way to have this, otherwise prepare for disdain)... NO sauce, just wings and ranch/tabasco/black pepper combo - excellent. I would return for the wings alone. One note - smokers were not going - so our meats are likely yesterdays, warmed up. Suggesting to those there - try sous vide for warming up - it will NOT dry out the meat. Hope to return and try during evening one night. Also noted - there is NO entrance that doesn't require multiple steps for those with mobility issues..."
