"08/2020 I had a stroke. After a short stay in a hospital, I was transferred to Gateway for Rehabilitation. The care and rehab that I received while there was beyond my expectations. If it was not for the rehab schedule and the care that I received, I would not have made the recovery that I did and continue to make to this day all due the the great people at Gateway. I can not thank them enough for this."

"This place has nothing but absolute liars working here with the exception of 2 of the therapist. They lie about diagnosis allow your family to get hurt by falling out of bed and then trying to deny it and refuse them tg to the hospital to be checked out. Medicine is being given that a known allergy exists and then tries to continue it although they are reminded and told of the reaction. At least 3 code blues happens here every week. The food sucks (awesome if your on a diet) but not when you have a diagnosis of anorexia but you can't leave the room for real food or to get get your inhaler from the vehicle cause it was decided you was in their lier prison. Husband did not show improvement in fact everyday he showed he was getting worse. Including a person that tried to push drugs on him that he refused, and they couldn't take a no for an answer they would actually call him on the phone demanding him to take narcotic medication for no reason. Stay away from this place for not put a family member here at all, if rehab is needed do research and go elsewhere. I cry everyday from the lies I have been told from this place, and if your loved one is here don't leave them for anything even their scare tactics of being locked down cause your loved one just might not make it to the next week"

"My grandma whose 76 has been there for less than 72 hours. After fracturing her sternum & C6 we decided it was best for her to go into a rehab facility where she could get stronger and get back to living a normal, healthy life. Well, after being told to “call don’t fall” she has repeatedly hit the nurses button to go to the bathroom as she cannot get up on her own, it has taken longer than 20 minutes for them to get to her. After multiple calls my family has made to the nurses station, this refuses to be fixed. Tonight, a tech named Stacy gave my grandma attitude for being “upset” about having to wait more than 20 minutes to go to the bathroom and proceeded to tell her “there’s 1 person for 20 patients” & after my grandma has asked if she should have someone be in there with her overnight Stacy then went to say that if “she needed someone in there 24/7 she’d need to hire someone but she would have to pay for it.” I mean, absolutely ridiculous to say the least. Not only are they incredibly understaffed, hygiene and help are inconsistent or just simply not existent. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever to care for them or their family members. I’m disgusted and incredibly disappointed."

"So very pleased with the care my son received at Gateway. After suffering a brain injury and a stroke he was in need of intense OT, PT and speech, and that is what he got. We saw improvement immediately. He made it very clear to staff how much he missed his Skyline and don't you know his last day there, nurses surprised him with Skyline carry out. Loved this place and would recommend it to anyone. Thank You Gateway."

"The place is clean but the staff is very rude. Don’t bother asking the Head Nurse for help with anything because she will bluntly tell you that she is too busy. How very rude! I suppose the people who work here don’t know anything about hospitality or the Oath or Apollo. The Hippocratic Oath (Original Version) I swear by Apollo the physician, Aesculapius, and Health, and All-heal, and all the gods and goddesses, that, according to my ability and judgement, I will keep this Oath and this stipulation."
