"This place has incredible food and beer. Come hungry because the portions are massive!! The outdoor rooftop is really cool. The only downside is this place is like 3 businesses in 1 and sometimes you can sense disorganization and cohesiveness is not there (sometimes they don’t know when the patio is to open for the season or they have some sort of drama in the kitchen) Though the food and upstairs rooftop atmosphere is incredible so you will regret not going here."

"The music was a touch loud for my taste and our server seated several other guests right in our corner when the rest of the restaurant was virtually empty, so that was peculiar. But. THE SPICY PEANUT SUACE. It has my heart. And it will keep myself coming back until the end of time. My Chicken Reina Arepa was STUFFED, the maduros perfectly cooked and sweet, and salad pickly and perfect for a hot summer day. ☀️"

"Did we wait over 40 minutes for our food, including appetizer? Yes, we did! Was it the restaurant's fault? No, they had internet issues, which was hard for the upstairs to communicate to the kitchen downstairs the orders. Did they make it up? MORE than did that! We went on a Saturday night at 8:40pm and got seated right away! The food more than made up for the wait with how delicious everything was. I had the chimi chicken sandwich while he had birria torta, and BOTH had an amazing fresh flavor. The inside bread was soaked in the flavor of the sauce and cheese while the outside was crispy. Also, can we appreciate how that cheese falls from that sandwich in a melt in your mouth, heaven of a bite. The fries were probably some of the best I've had in any restaurant, and they give you 5 sauces that they bring early on to the table. I enjoyed the spicier sauce to dip in my fries, but the garlic aoli was just as good. The chorizo condado dip was very delicious as well. Everything came out together since we waited so long it was hard to know what to eat when everything was extremely delicious. The staff apologized all through the night and took off our drinks and appetizer as a sorry for the wait. The outside area on top is cute although chilly at night, so bring a jacket! They do have a fireplace though. Overall, friendly staff with probably some of the best food I've had in a good while. I'm excited to go back again and try downstairs too, since upstairs and downstairs are both different restaurants, although I wouldn't mind eating again upstairs! They have stairs AND an elevator for the upstairs, which I appreciate not having to walk up steps in a dress and heels."

"Arepas were amazing and highly recommend trying them because you won't find them any other places as often. The cheesy corn is also pretty amazing as a shareable appetizer and if available depending on what time you get there, try one of the hola tacos if they give you the menu. The tacos for the restaurant that's typically downstairs are amazing and incredibly feeling. Otherwise, Near perfect meal. Flavors were on point for the Peruvian style food and the tacos are always amazing. The cheesy corn dip was pretty good especially with chicken added to it and definitely recommend to share with people. Only major criticism my wife and I found was the chips were somewhat stale and were obviously fried together and stuck to each other so many of them were actually very soggy with oil still. We went there for a late lunch and service seem to be perfectly adequate but with only two or so waitresses I can see how it would take some time to get your food during a dinner rush."

"I really loved this, it is a plantain and queso lovers paradise. The decor up top is entertaining all on its own. This place is above Hola Tacos which it seems to get confused with a lot because it is in the same building. It has outdoor seating at well, which I bet is nice in the summer. We had the cheesy corn, patacon and maduros. Both are a take on steak served over queso and plantain. Patacon is crispy and chip like, maduros is sweet and soft. The cheese corn came with chips, but the real winner is that addition of the fried maize (corn meal). It reminded me of my moms refried grits sticks and I loved it! They also had caiparanhas which is nice to see. This is a drink made with liquor from sugar cane, sugar and lime. Although this had some carbonation- so it’s a bit different than I am used to. Anyway, good service, good and authentic food, awesome decor. On a separate visit I had the arepa Llanara, which was vegetarian. The way the served arepas was in a way I hadn’t seen before, but still very good!"
