"I think we've found Perfect bacon... So, my wife saw this diner on the way to our Valentine's dinner and we decided to go there for breakfast this morning. First off, the atmosphere is clean and modern, a very comfortable place to be. Our server, Angel was very upbeat and attentive. Our food was served quickly and arrived fresh and hot. I had the Ham 'Diner' Scramble and I will say the portions and ingredients are as good as they come. There were plenty of fresh vegetables, ham, and cheese cooked just right. The other half of the plate included the home fries which were a good mix of slightly soft potatoes with crunchy counterparts (I recommend a little salt and pepper across the board). We also ordered a side of bacon... FULL STOP there are things that I don't like about bacon, sometimes. Too chewy, too crunchy, too thin, too salty ... but I will say that when I ate this bacon there was NOTHING I did not like about about it. In fact, it is the best bacon I have had, to date, there I said it. If you just want a good breakfast and know you'll be happy, this is the place. We'll be back to enjoy the outdoor seating."

"This place is a Lakewood institution for a reason. I always enjoy everything I get here for breakfast or brunch. Great food, love the vibe, always good service. And to take out a couple pieces of pie to enjoy later, awesome!"

"This diner use to be my favorite, however two recent instances has changed my mind tremendously. Two Sundays in a row that I have patronized this establishment,my food has been horrible and burnt. Upon getting home here are the pictures of my food. Due to my schedule I didn't have time to double back and request the order be remade. I hope this is not how they treat their customers, because this effects poorly on their brand."

"Dinerbar has that nice cozy, comfortable diner feeling when you walk in. I actually ordered my food to go. Dinerbar was located across the street from my Airbnb and I saw so many people going in so I decided to look up the reviews. Of course, they have good reviews so I decided to order the Shepherds Pie. The server who rung up my order was very friendly and I enjoyed talking to him. Upon opening my takeout box I was not impressed with presentation, I thought it looked a bit greasy. Fortunately, it did turn out to be delicious, seasoning and flavor was on point. My only complaints are presentation of takeout food and more mashed potatoes. The ratio of meat to mashed potatoes is a bit off."

"Fun modern diner with the friendliest service in town!!! Serves mixed drinks plus beer and wine. Breakfast served all day! Gets busy for breakfast, so be patient, you may have to wait."
