"Can not say enough positive things! I work for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, and we hosted a large scale event this past week that was catered by Pelicano's. Due to a catering snafu we called Pelicano's last minute on the recommendation of one of our staff that had used them for a small party. When I spoke to the staff, they were wonderful. They helped me decide how much food was appropriate for the amount of people expected. In addition to being extremely helpful, their pricing was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we received. On the night of the event, we had an influx of attendees and found ourselves short on food. When I called them to see what else we could order on short notice, they were so accommodating, fast and sincere on the phone in a moment of panic - truly so grateful to have worked with a small business that was so lovely and kind."

"Hello Mr Rizzo. I have been a huge fan of Pelicanos. Today I ordered 8 piece chicken and JOJOS. As I was eating the potatoes I pulled a long dark hair from my mouth, my hair is short and not dark. I then noticed another hair on the remaining potatoes on my plate. I then investigate the box to find yet ANOTHER hair. I called the store and the manager was very apologetic and said he knew exactly whose hair it was and he would make sure that person put on a hair next. I thanked him and asked him what he wanted me to do with the remaining food? I certainly wasn't going to eat it. Studdering he asked, " uhm well what do you want me to do?" 1st WHY would ANY employee handling food not having some sort of hair covering? 2nd WHY are your managers not adequately trained for these situations.? There really is no reason I should have had to ask for the food to be replaced WITHOUT HAIR. That should have been the automatic response. Hopefully you get this situation rectified and your managers are better trained to make sure staff is following standard food handling procedures and know how to handle a complaint effectively. P.S. In reading reviews, hairy food seems the norm. UPDATE WOW WOW WOW, I called and spoke to the owner, I just thought he might want to know, since he doesn't respond to his Google review. This man was GROSSLY unfriendly and SOOOO DEFENSIVE. Seriously, I wasn't bashing the team, I just thought there were obvious things that he might want to know. WOW WOW sooooo touchy"

"Tried this place for the first time last night, because our usual pizza place has really been striking out lately. I was impressed with the whole experience! A super polite and friendly person took my order and food arrived in less time than they said it would. The pizza was really tasty and great crust. Flavorful and delicious chicken and jojo potatoes. It was also really affordable. A four piece chicken, potatoes and slaw was $12. We were able to get that + 2 small specialty pizzas for under $50 bucks with delivery. We will definitely be ordering again."

"pizza was premium price but was average quality. i might not be a sophisticated foodie but ive had pizza in many states and this place was worse than a bargain place i have been to. thought it would be a local mom and pop place but they price their pizzas on par with giordanos. service was horrible. told me 45 minute wait for my pizza and then the guy had a weird nonverbal tone to the way he handed me my change when i paid for my pizza. and i was polite so whqt does that say about this guy? could have been an off day who knows."
