"Cool place with great burgers, but our waitress was visibly high and gave us the wrong food as she was mumbling. She initially gave us someone else's order before we informed her it wasn't ours, and she then proceeded to give it to the other customers even though it touched our table."

"Our family enjoyed visiting Bearden's while on vacation. The atmosphere is wonderful, burgers and fries were so tasty, and the kids LOVED the milkshakes. Highly recommend for a fun meal."

"I haven’t been here in a few years and honestly I don’t think I’ll return. It was almost $30 for a single Western Bear burger, small onion rings, and a kids meal with what appeared to be just plain Kraft mac&cheese, generic applesauce, and an okay chocolate milkshake. My burger was just alright. It was kind of dry in my opinion. The onion rings were fine. Also: the train was gone, the TVs weren’t on, and the music was only playing sporadically. The restroom smelled terrible and was full of flies, and there were flies in the dining room too. Several of the tables were dirty. The employee taking my order was a bit curt but the employee who brought our food out was very nice. All in all- there are plenty of other places to get lunch with a cleaner environment, friendlier employees and better food. Unfortunate."

"First time at Beardens, and my family wanted to try it out, so here we are. For a slow day, all the tables were dirty, and flies were flying around. The person bringing the food seemed bothered to be bringing the food out. We received our food, and the meat didn't seem like a steak but just a regular ground beef patty. The color of the patty was also questionable. The fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. Only the burger of the month was tasty. All the other burgers tasted very plain. It's definitely not worth the money. The music would play then was paused for a while and then started again. We were also disappointed the train wasn't running. It was a highly disappointing experience. I would not recommend it!"

"We were celebrating a birthday and the guest of honor chose Bearden's as their restaurant of choice. They had been before but the rest of our party had not. First impressions on driving into the parking lot was that it had a very 50's era diner feel. On the side of the building is a 1/4 half of a vintage car on the side. You place your order at the counter on walking in, sit, then they bring out your order to you. It was quite busy when we arrived as a large group arrived just prior to us so it took 15 mins or so to get to the ordering counter. The ordering process was very straightforward and the menu is fairly focused so it makes deciding pretty easy. It's burgers, some various fried side dishes, a hot dog, chicken sandwich, fish option, and a salad option. The place knows their focus and the menu reflects it expertly. I always get weary of a restaurant offering pages of menu options. It usually means they don't excel at any one thing as there is no way a kitchen can be that flexible without cutting corners. Food was brought out very quickly and piping hot. Our group had a wide range of stuff ordered but some of the highlights were: breaded mushrooms, fried pickles, slim Jim fries, the 1/4lb hot dog, various types of burgers, and the fish. Everyone was very satisfied with their food but the portion sizes were large and unexpected. This led to a lot of discussion in the future of ordering one serving and sharing amongst the group. All in all, it would be a place we would visit again. It had a good atmosphere, excellent food, and the restaurant staff were working extremely hard. From what we could see, only 4 total employees were working at the restaurant and they were all busting to get orders complete and out."
