"This was our first visit, and we were impressed. The low-key atmosphere was nice, and the food delicious. We dined for Valentine's Day, so they had some special food and drink offerings not on the normal menu (such as the creme brulee). We both had the short rib gnocchi (divine) and half-salads and desserts. This is the kind of place where you could order anything on the menu and it will be good. You are limited only by your appetite and your credit card (it's not cheap). One odd occurrence was a panhandler entering the restaurant and asking us and others for money. They were escorted out pretty quickly. I have never seen that before, but this is downtown Cincinnati - for better or worse."
"Got takeout from here last night and I was pretty let down. The flavors were there but this is what I was given. Most of my short rib was just straight fat, needed more sauce, barely any mushrooms (I counted 4) they forgot my gelato and my black berry cobbler was just thrown about and cold. Front desk woman wasn’t impressive for the price you pay. Didn’t even acknowledge me when I came back in for my missing item. Another black woman came and apologized and was so so sweet. She was the best part of the meal. Flavors were fine, I’ve had better takeout. Definitely won’t be back. Sad I left over a 20% tip."
"I had a gnocchi with a braised short rib, which was nothing short of being heavenly and delightful. My bartender Mark service was amazing and gave me the right wine to accompany the dish. A must try when you're in this area."
