"Not a great lunch menu. Service was lack luster. Definitely not anything to rave about. I had extremely high hopes and was looking forward to dining at Subito after reading multiple outstanding reviews. After reading the reviews and comparing with my own experience; either the establishment was having an extremely off day or the 5 star ratings were inflated by a slanted and biased customer base. I certainly can not imagine that large of a gap in the the food quality and service. I can not recommend any of the dishes below; as the lunch / brunch menu was extremely limited. I was looking forward to trying trying some authentic Italian cuisine and the short ribs. The limited lunch menu left a lot to be desired. (No short ribs or an Italian inspired entre; just a barely average hamburger and slightly above average French fries... which I ordered because I was incredibly hungry and we had a late afternoons engagement... that would have pushed my hunger to the next level. The only positive thing I can say about my dining experience; was that it kept my hunger at bay and tired us over until such time that my wife and I were able to find an adequate meal."

"The food was excellent, and the service was even better! Gina took such great care of us and made it a really special night. Ryan and Dot were also super fun and helpful, and ensured we had a great dining experience. Everything was delicious and cooked well. Brussels and green beans were so good, as were all our entrees. The only criticism I can even come up with is we did not love the cocktail sauce with our jumbo shrimp, was too ketchup-y. The mousse dessert was so good! All in all a wonderful night filled with scrumptious food. We went back in the morning for breakfast and it was just as good. Definitely recommend sitting in the gorgeous back area with floor to ceiling windows!"

"Amazing service from Gina. Brussel sprouts appetizer was great! They added pine nuts and grapes which I'd never seen before. Margherita pizza was great. The Manhattan smelled so wonderful and tasted amazing. Would research the menu before, I was unfamiliarwith some of the items. Valet parking is probably your best bet."

"Overall a pleasant experience. I went on Saturday for brunch and had the hash. It came out hot and delicious. Our specific server was very kind and checked in with us frequently. I docked one star on service and atmosphere due to the bar. There was a woman working who kept glaring at my friend and I. It made us uncomfortable."

"Update: Top notch Italian fine dining. Ate at the bar this time. The swordfish was perfect, as was the Vanilla Pear Mule. The piano player was also great. First visit: Service was excellent, fixed price menu for the holidays was detectible and it cost less than I expected. Cocktails we're great on top of all that. I really liked the little touches like the sorbet palette cleanser and the dessert. Also, I was very comfortable dining alone, thanks to the atmosphere and staff. It's a short walk from the Banks and well worth a visit."
