"We had a wonderful experience at Sotto for my birthday treat. Cocktails are delightful. The appetizers were way more flavorful than I expected. My steak was tender and cooked just to my preference. The ambience was warm sexy. The Waiter, hostes and manager were very attentive to customers. Definitely Top of my list of Cincis finest."

"Entering in one of the hostess was able to find my reservation. But when I had to leave and come back the new hostess had difficulty finding my reservation. And then when she was able to find it and told us to wait (which was fine), we walked to the side and she began to randomly tell the other hostess about how it’s fine to make us wait five minutes. Just seemed oddly rude and unprofessional the way she was acting. Besides the hostess being an oddball, the waitress (Skylar?) was 10/10. She gave great recommendations and service. Food was 8/10, everything was flavorful and great but a lot of the food was extremely buttery or oily which doesn’t fit my flavor profile. Ambience is the darker room with dim lit candles. I would go back if I’m looking for a nicer Italian restaurant but nothing that wowed me into putting this as a must go bucket list Cincinnati restaurant that I must go to yearly,"

"Sotto absolutely lives up to the hype. I have been a few times in the past couple of months, and every time it has absolutely exceeded my expectations. My first time at Sotto, I was seated at the food bar and got to see the cooks working their magic in the kitchen. Chef Fynn was exceptional and made the best steak I’ve had in Cincinnati (yep I said it). Each time, the servers were amazing. The food is of course exceptional, and the drinks are divine. I’ve eaten gluten free here once and the staff were all incredibly informed and able to ensure that everything was safe. It was nice to have an entirely gluten free menu to reference as well. The ambiance is wonderful and it’s a place that’s perfect for everything from a date night, to a birthday dinner, to taking clients. Everything on the menu is delicious, but favorites (outside of the flawless pastas) have been the bistecca, quail, and octopus."

"Sotto is an excellent restaurant! I have always personally had AMAZING SERVICE! Which speaks to why I will continue to dine here. I have never had a better experience than here. My husband and I love going here. We love celebrating here. We love introducing others to Sotto. I appreciate the care that’s taken when you tell them you’re celebrating something special. There aren’t that many places that give this kind of attention to the fine dining experience. It’s always something special we look forward to, even if that means we have to wait until late to eat…worth it every time! #customerforlife"
