"1st time visit to try something different in Cincy chili. Order & pickup at the counter. A good menu with a variety of selections. The chili is a traditional chili taste. Enjoyed the cheese coney."

"Been coming here since I was a kid. Out of all the Cincinnati style chili places out there this one is by far the best. The food is always consistently great and there service is as well . You won't catch them having an off day. The menu has its classics but also they have great salads deli sandwiches and gyros. Also great root beer and red cream soda floats . If you are a local or just visiting the area I highly recommend stopping by and having a great meal and picking out some tunes on there juke box."

"I live in Dayton Ohio and went to northern KY to visit my son. He knows I love Dixie Chili so he treated me to the one on Dixie Hwy in Elsmere. Had to have my "Dixie Fix"! Employees were friendly, food was DELICIOUS as always! I wish they would bring Dixie Chili restaurants to Dayton Ohio, although it can be bought in cans at most grocery stores."

"I was hoping for a little better based on other reviews but here was my experience. Visited during a weekday lunch around 1:30, so I wasn’t too busy. There was no line and I walked right up to place my order. Immediately I could see and hear an employee who was having a meltdown. She was slamming utensils around and banging lids on the service line as she was putting orders together, while vocally going back and forth with coworkers. Whether she was having a bad day or disagreement with staff or was very uncomfortable and management did nothing to intervene. But into the food, the clerk took my order, I grabbed a tray and proceeded for the unhappy girl to put my order together which was completed in a timely manner, food plopped on my tray with no eye contact or “thank you”. I headed off to find a table and sit down. That’s when I noticed my crème soda was only about 70% full. So after a few bites and sips, I went back to the counter for a refill. I was told no refills. I explained to the clerk that my soda was never full to begin with and he begrudgingly filled it up again. As for the food, I had a 6-way and cheese coney. Nothing remarkable. Not bad but didn’t stand out over their competition. In fact, I only ate about half of it and left."

"Simply a gem. Great tasting meal for a great price. If you love chili you will won’t be disappointed. Keep in mind this is Cincinnati style chili. I recommend get the 6- way for a experience in flavor that you will not forget."
