"For several years now, about once a week, I’ve I taken my 85 year old mom to the grocery store and to run other errands. It’s been our habit to stop at Tender Towne on the way home. She lives about 5 minutes away so we take our meals inside her house before I unload her groceries. The last few times the chicken strips have been smaller, over breaded and over cooked. Yesterday, she had unexpected company so we ordered a family meal and it was so bad, we threw most of it out. The shoestring fries were undercooked, soggy and tastless. What happened to the steak fries? Your website clearly shows steak fries, not shoestring fries! The chicken strips again were small, tough, overcooked and over breaded.The coleslaw was so runny. At your prices, we expected a much better quality of food, like we had before. This was such a disappointment. What happened? Sadly, we won’t be returning unless management fixes their decision to downgrade your food without letting your loyal patrons know."

"After not having frequented the place for several months decided to stop in. They had always been a little pricey, about twice the average of five dollars for a fast food meal, but worth it. Now they are on par with the average cost of a fast food meal.Though the chicken was as good as usual, the portions surprised me. The tenders were surprisingly 2/3 smaller than before, and they have switched out from their delicious steak fries to a passible shoestring variety. I am assuming, like hardee's, this is a business decision in response to the rising costs. Rather than calling attention to inflation and raising prices, they simply shrank the portions of food being offered and said nothing. I myself would have preferred they raise prices and not change the food...."
