"Restaurant was clean & cozy. Didn’t really feel like the food was worth $40 for two. I got the “build your own feast” and felt like the chicken & potatoes tasted like anything I could make at home, as well as the salad. The only thing Mediterranean about my dish was the taziki sauce. The potatoes & chicken were bland. My boyfriend ordered the lamb with rice and a salad and said the same thing. The food wasn’t bad but probably nothing I’d pay $40 for again."
"First time having Mediterranean food and it was delicious! We went at a time when it was less busy, so, of course, it was fast prompt service. The quality and freshness of the Mediterranean salad was excellent. Chicken was cooked well and tender. Really warm and cozy atmosphere for a day that was cold outside."
"The serving size here is a complete joke - I ordered the “Chicken Kebob Feast” and paid $17.86 - and was given 6 bite size pieces of meat and not even the decency for them to fill the container with salad - picture is attached. This is insane - I will never patronage here again because the amount of food you get for money spent is a horrible return."
"Wow, an awesome piece of fish at an affordable price? Skip Chipotle and come here. The manager is super friendly, and clearly cares about your experience. The food is the real winner for me - great portions, cooked well, and they serve 21+ beverages!"
"★★★★★ Food quality ★★★★★ Service ★★★★★ Ambiance ★★★★☆ Value ★★★★☆ Menu selection ★★★★★ Location/Accessibility ★★★★★ Overall experience Today, as the stars were aligned and the time was nigh, I finally caught up with my former coworker FF over dinner. Intrigued by FF's incessant requests to try Greek cuisine, we decided to give this relatively new Greek restaurant a try. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that Taziki's was a popular spot, as there was a buzz of activity with customers both inside the restaurant and on the outdoor patio, with even more waiting in line. As we joined the queue to order, I couldn't help but take in the details of the interior design. There were indoor and outdoor seating options connected by a glass wall and door. The waiting line was separated from the tables by a thin wall, and the walls were adorned with Mediterranean-inspired decor, most notably landscape pictures that depicted the normal life of Mediterranean countries. The counter faced the front door and boasted shelves filled with various snacks and drinks. The warm lighting reflected off the white walls, creating a cozy atmosphere. Despite the busy scene, we didn't have to wait long in the line, thanks to a kindly older couple who allowed us to order first. As we sat and chatted about a certain individual that had just recently lost his job, our waiter arrived with our food. The sight and aroma was enough to make my mouth water. I ordered the hand-crafted gyro with grilled lamb, pita bread, Taziki sauce, tomatoes, mixed lettuce, grilled onions, crispy potato chips, basmati rice, and Cola iced tea. As I took my first bite, I was immediately struck by the tangy, lemony flavor of the Taziki sauce. The diced grilled lamb had a distinct gamey flavor and a texture similar to beef, grilled to perfection with a flamy taste. The tangy sauce, savory lamb, rich pita, and crunchy lettuce came together in perfect harmony, transporting me to Greece in spirit. The packaged wavy potato chips were a simple addition that added some crisp and saltiness to the already perfect gyro. The basmati rice, however, was a true delight for the taste buds. Each grain was long and airy, with a unique texture that was both dry and oily, without a hint of stickiness, offering a unique texture that perfectly complemented the main dish. What really stood out about this rice was its flavor profile. It was earthy and aromatic, with hints of herbs and florals that gave it a tantalizing complexity. It was as if the rice had been infused with a delightful blend of oils that awakened the senses. Although the portion size was on the smaller side, I savored every single grain of this remarkable rice, which left me with a sense of satisfaction that lingered long after the meal was over. My dining companion FF, a self-proclaimed aficionado of Greek cuisine, ordered the same gyro with a side of salad and a canned Greek tea, finishing his meal with such speed that I couldn't help but wonder if he had really savored the flavors. Nonetheless, it was clear that FF was a frequent visitor to Taziki's and knew the restaurant inside out. One aspect of Taziki's that I particularly appreciated was its fast food-style setup with table service. Our waiter was friendly and treated us with respect, and the restaurant was impeccably clean and stylish. However, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant does not offer coffee. Additionally, while the food was delicious, the limited portion size did not quite satisfy my hunger. I also noticed that while the menu emphasized Mediterranean cuisine, there could be more variety in the offerings. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe. While I couldn't help but imagine how much more memorable the experience would be if I had eaten the food from a rough, dirty street vendor on a dirty roadside, I was more than satisfied with my visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and delicious Mediterranean food."
