"I’ve only left a few reviews in my life- but I felt the need to leave one for this place. It’s a dump. Go somewhere else for a decent time. Just read the lowest reviews. That’s all you need to know."

"The Village Tavern is a great place to go watch whatever game is on, to go kill some time between the kid's practices, to go have a drink after work or to stop in for a couple drinks and some food on a weekend afternoon. We haven't eaten much off their (relatively) new menu this past year, but... The potato skins are pretty good, not too small & big enough to share. The poppers were the standard popper you see most places. Tacos are pretty good, and there's a taco special every week. The wings are decent sized with the usual assortment of sauces plus a Carolina Mustard sauce and a tasty lemon pepper rub. Unfortunately, the blue cheese for the wings wasn't anything to write home about. In fact, it was thinner than the ranch my wife had. The Cuban sandwich would be a lot better with a decent roll to be pressed in. I'm not a queso on my nachos kind of guy, but if you like liquid cheese versus melted shredded, these are for you. All in all, good food. We go there not for dinner but to watch whatever game happens to be on while having a few drinks and some grub. With that in mind, you'll be fine here. As to the bar, the booze selection is all your basic liquors with some extra nice bourbons thrown in here and there. There are 2 sides to the physical bar, so don't be dismayed if you walk in and don't see a spot right away. Draft beer selection is good and varied with probably 10-12 to choose from. I don't order canned beer there, but I imagine there are no shortages in the selection area there. The bartenders are attentive and friendly, especially with the regulars. If you find yourself in the area with some time to kill or a craving for a drink, stop in."

"We had a great experience with our waiter/bartender but the rest of the experience was not good at all. I’m not lying when I say we waited an hour for food… and the restaurant was not busy at all, and then our fries came out cold. We sat at the bar and our bartender went back to check on our food multiple times, constantly apologizing. He then went back and got us fresh fries without us saying anything. I wish the food was worth it but it definitely wasn’t. $12 for a sandwich you can fit in one hand plus $2 sub for fries. It gets 3 stars for the great bartender at the back bar."

"I came here for a relaxing fun evening with my wife. There was a two man band on the patio (I didn’t even know there was a patio!) and it was a great spot. The music was great, I had to settle on beer selection as they didn’t have a huge variety. The tenders were nice and it was a cool spot to relax after a long week."
