"I have been to Melting Pot multiple times. By far one of my favorite places to eat. On 2/15/24, I drove an hour to the location (arrived around 5:10 p.m.) because I wanted to get in on the early bird special they have between 5-6 p.m. My sister and I walked and was told that for the day, it was reservation only. Oh yeah!!! It is Valentine's Day. It didn't dawn on me. I asked the host is it possible for us to get seating and I didn't mind waiting because I had drove an hour to get there. She politely said no. Noticing that there wasn't that many patrons in the restaurant, I asked if we could sit at the bar. She politely said that the bar wasn't open to walk-in for the day. Frustrated because I was hungry and had drove an hour to get there, I went online to just make a reservation. Ofcourse, no reservations were available. Additionally, no where on the site did it say that "Valentine's Day" required a reservation or that that day was reservation only. While in the parking lot, I called the restaurant and spoke to the host again. I explained to her that I normally wouldn't make a fuss but given that there is no mention of it being reservation only for that day and I had drove a good distance, is it any way I could get seating (maybe someone will no show, etc). I was told no and that it's the restaurant's preference to implement the reservation only policy for the day. I called back and got the voicemail of the "manager". I left a detailed message and requested a callback (no callback as of yet). The host was very pleasant and polite and I am sure she was only reinforcing what she was instructed to do. It is just a disservice to customers to 1. not publish that reservations are required (especially when it not a standard practice) and 2. not allow walk-ins the option to wait in the event someone cancels or no show. We ended up going to Carrabba's Italian Grill about 8 minutes away. We got a full 4-course meal for two for only $65. So it all worked out. The food was great and service was expectational."

"Food wasn’t bad, was a lot more food overall than I thought there would be for five courses. Bruschetta was below average. Cheese fondue was good, entrees were good, and chocolate fondue was good."

"I haven't been to a melting pot in 8 or so years. The food was great, and the customer service matched the quality of their food. My only complaint was the facility did not. My wife had a few dirty dishes (the prongs and cups), the bench we sat at had a tear and the venue was fairly lackluster overall. I'm not one to care about that sort of thing, but at this price point, it was a bit disappointing considering it's a fine dining experience."

"It's been about 15 Years since we've been to the Melting Pot. Don't have anything bad to say about it. The experience was really fun but it's just not my cup of tea. I get that. Some people love it. At this price I prefer for full-service and not cooking my own food. At roughly $100 per head for what we ordered I'd probably have chosen something else. Staff was great - desert was the star of the show."

"We went here for our anniversary and the service was fantastic. There were rose petals on the table. There are lots of options for each course to choose from. We chose the Classic Alpine for the first course and it was a little strong for us. I think it was probably the gruyere. Second course we both got The Melting Pot House salad and it was very good. We chose The Big Night Out with MoJo cooking style for the entree option and there were lots of different meats on there. Final course was the best of course.... chocolate fondue. We picked Cookies and Cream Marshmallow Dream and it was fantastic! It's definitely a different kind of dining experience but everyone should experience it once."
