"A dive bar with pool tables in the back but I wanted someplace I could sit with a beer while my van was plugged into the "free" outlets provided by the municipality. When I walked in, a lively bunch of folks having a good time. I decided this was a spot I could stay. Sitting down with my beer in the back, that's when the music started. Super loud and from a speaker that was just a little bit blown. Enough to be grating. I finished the beer and headed elsewhere. If you're looking for a good loud time, this might be the spot for you."

"Best standard bar experience imaginable. The atmosphere is perfect. The music is perfect. The art on the walls, the bar games they have, even the chairs are fantastic. It's not too big but not too small. The servers are the BEST. Being at Al's Bar feels like being on the set of a TV show. It's incredible. Highly highly highly recommend checking them out, even if you don't drink, just to see what a good bar is supposed to be like. They set the bar for bars. And they got good snacks too."
