Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

"DO NOT EAT HERE!! THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!! Stopped to grab something to eat while in town. They had just opened for the day. My food smelled and tasted like cigarette smoke (so I’m assuming the worker didn’t wash their hands before handling my food). Food for customer consumption was sitting on the counter from the night before. Dining area was filthy (trash and food on tables and floor). Back door was propped open. Workers reeked of weed."

"I’ve never eaten in such a hostile feeling environment. The staff was in a loud verbal altercation the entire meal. The pop machine had no ice and the pop was not cold. I had to get my drink from behind the counter. My lid was thrown away and there wasn’t anything stocked to use in its place. A man walked up and nicely asked what kind of deals were being ran. The man behind the counter replied with “Nothin’” in a non friendly manner. The customer walked out. I got my food, but it was missing the condiments and a fork, so I went up to ask for them. The man threw his hands up like I was such an inconvenience and said we don’t have any forks… I ate and left."

"Probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Employee who took my order was very rude. Food took a good while to come out. Soda machine was out of ice and syrup on some and carbonation was low. No napkins, sauces, or straws. Chicken was room temperature, and looked like it was made the day before. Fries and biscuit were excellent, though. I understand that they were understaffed that day but there are better ways to handle it. I would avoid this location."

"I don't have a Popeyes where I live so I was super excited to get a chicken sandwich. Had to wait an extra four minutes cause they were getting it fresh for me. When I went through the drive-through, I could smell the oil. When I got the sandwich back to my office, I bit into it and it was rubbery and slimy. Ended up throwing the entire thing away. Just makes my stomach turn. Attached is the photo."

"I don’t do this often but when you receive bad food I have to tell the truth. This was not good, I love Popeyes I really do BUT they fumbled hard on this one. The chicken was dry and the red beans and rice was very dry like it had been sitting for a while. The Mac and cheese had rice in it from the red beans so I guess they used the same spoon without washing it. The normal biscuits tasted like strawberries not what I was looking for….The kicker to me was the popular strawberry biscuit. This is supposed to be warm with the icing dripping off of it…..instead I got hard icing and a barely warm."
