"Got a takeout order around 10:30, never have had gumbo and the lady at the register walked me through basically the entire menu, was very friendly and handed me some of the best to-go food I've ever had. Very little money very well spent."

"When I visited this location, it was my first Cajun experience. Now I can’t live without Cajun food. Every single time I dine here, the experience is as vivid as the first time. I’m always impressed by how all the employees are knowledgeable of their products and proud of what they serve. Recently I found out that they can provide cornbread as an alternative to their toast. I’ve never tried it because they told its sweet, and sweet cornbread is not my taste, though I’m sure they make great one. But I wish they would make southern style non-caky cornbread, and that would make their gumbo even more perfect."

"Our experience here was great! The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. We got the Bourbon street chicken and the drunken chicken, and some bread pudding for dessert. The meal itself was well worth the cost too. I don't think we'd get the bread pudding again, but we'd go out of our way to come back for the gumbo itself!"
