Reviews
"The attempt to upsell fries with a chicken strip basket fell short when I requested the normal portion but resulted in less than what would typically be expected, not filling a small fry container I had from a previous trip. Additionally, the toast lacked proper toasting and wasn't sliced, detracting from the overall experience."
"We take our little Niece there every Wednesday after school for her ice cream. She lives getting vanilla ice cream in a cup with rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips and whip cream. The manager always makes sure it is done right and she just puts a big smile on my little nieces face. Makes her day."
"I ordered a mini blizzard and fries. The fries were extremely cold (I feel like hot fries is a basic expectation of a fast-food place, ESPECIALLY when they charge $3 for fries) and for whatever reason, they don't have Reese's pieces here. I don't understand why they literally have Heath bars as an option when no one knows what that is, and not an extremely popular option of Reese's pieces. I will not go here again. Expensive and bad."
"I work just about 3 mins from here and have not had a chance to eat here. I went today, a quiet weds after lunch rush. I was the only car in line. I ordered my food and pulled up. I waited for a bit and when my food was handed to me the cashier said something along the lines of you got hot fresh fries. A statement to help smooth over my wait i assume. I drove 3 mins to work only to find old, cold fries. I had to pop them in the microwave. The burger was sloppy and cold, the bacon on the burger was even cold. I feel like I was told about my food being hot only because they knew it was old and cold. I won't be back."
"★★★☆☆ Food quality ★★★★★ Service ★★★★☆ Ambiance ★★★★★ Value ★★★★★ Menu selection ★★★★★ Location/Accessibility ★★★☆☆ Overall experience On a lazy Monday afternoon, I decided to check out the new Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant that recently opened up just a few steps from my place. I was eager to try out their menu, so I placed an online order before heading over to the restaurant. When I arrived, I was greeted by a long line of cars in the drive-thru lane, so I chose to dine in instead. As I entered the restaurant, I immediately noticed a line of people waiting at the counter. The restaurant itself was quite spacious, with a bright and inviting atmosphere, thanks to its ample lighting and colorful decor. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the furniture and walls, with some staff even cleaning throughout my entire visit. Additionally, there were some really nice wall art pieces and stylish hanging lamps that added a touch of sophistication to the space. Restrooms were located in one corner of the restaurant. While there was no music playing, the sound of blenders making shakes could be heard throughout the visit, which became a bit of a nuisance after a while. For my meal, I ordered the Fish Sandwich, which consisted of a fried pollock fillet, white buns, onion rings, a slice of tomato, pickles, and mayo ketchup sauce, along with a side of small fries and a small Cotton Candy Blizzard® Treat. The wait time for my meal was not long, and before handing over my order, the male staff member did a neat trick by flipping the Blizzard® Treat cup upside down, just like the picture in the menu! I found it amusing and couldn't help but say, "Cool!" as I then retrieved my bag of food and headed to a table. When I opened the bag, the food was warm and freshly cooked, with no distinct odor other than the generic scent of oil. However, the burger itself was a bit messy, as the pollock fillet did not fit between the two buns, making it difficult to take the first bite. The onion and pickles kept falling out of the sandwich, so I took a bite of just the fillet to sample it on its own. The fillet was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and tasted fresh, but it lacked flavor and seasoning. With a bit of shaping, I managed to make the burger work as a whole, and it tasted good thanks to the other ingredients that balanced out the blandness of the fish. On the other hand, the fries were not cooked well, with dry skin that seemed to indicate they were recooked several times. However, a little bit of ketchup helped to improve the taste. After finishing the burger and fries, I tried the Cotton Candy Blizzard® Treat, which tasted a lot like the ice cream I used to buy from Kroger, except with added crunchy toppings. However, the treat was overly sweet for my taste, causing me to feel cringy with each bite and leaving my throat dry. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the cup, and it had melted by this point. The restaurant had a handful of staff members, most of whom were stationed in the cooking area. I saw four employees, including a woman who appeared to be the manager, behind the counter, with two more employees cleaning up. I could tell that some were in training, as I overheard the manager giving instructions in a patient and encouraging tone. I found their demeanor refreshing, and while they talked loudly, they weren't aggressive in any way. Some even had a "sassy" tone, which I found amusing. When it came to the food, I have to say that it definitely matched the price - cheap and not particularly high quality. Unfortunately, after finishing my meal, I experienced a serious stomachache, and while I'm not sure if the meal was the direct cause, I can't rule it out as a factor. That being said, the menu itself was impressive, with a wide range of items to choose from. However, after my experience, I now have some doubts about the quality of the ingredients. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant, just be mindful of what you order, especially if you're looking for a healthier option."
