"Why is this place 4 stars? My steak was fatty and greasy.. my husband's burrito was salty. Chips taste old. Salsa tastes like ketchup. Ugh. The waiter rounded a lot which was nice and annoying at the same time. He waited for me to sign my bill which was annoying.. don't hover over me and watch me tip you. Weird"

"My husband and I had an early dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant was not yet crowded. The food was received quickly and hot. The service was prompt. The restaurant was pristine. The food tasted great! I had the chicken bowl, which was excellent and plentiful. My husband had a burrito (I can't remember which one), and it was smaller than expected, but still very good. He finished off my leftovers!"

"Pros: Super clean throughout entire restaurant (including restroom), staff was welcoming and friendly, our waiter (Marco) was great and happily helped with meal suggestions. Very well done restaurant with some neat details! Cons: A bit pricey…two adults and one child was $89.48, but we did order the sea food (Del Mar Trio) 2 @ $28/ea. They didn’t have hardly any cheese like shown on the menu pic. We asked for more cheese and was charged $6 for a small cup. We were also charged for kids drink that I believe should’ve came with the kids meal and soft drinks were $3.99/ea. Overall great experience and I’d recommend this restaurant. We will more than likely return next time we’re in town."

"This was our second time here, and we brought an out-of-towner. Even when busy, the parking lot is quite spacious and had a few options available. El Rancho Grande has lots of options for those without dietary restrictions, but very few for the health-conscious, which is a little disappointing. They have 5 vegetarian options (some of which can be made vegan). Corn tortillas are available as replacements for flour. The food was excellent, but the service was subpar. We weren't greeted by the hostess (I greeted her). She glanced at us, asked, "Three?" and grabbed menus. The waitress wasn't very friendly, either. It's a shame because the food is good and the atmosphere is great! Overall, the experience could have been better with more professional workers and a little more menu creativity, but it's not a bad place to go for dinner. Recommended, but with caveats."

"The Loco Taco is not what it used to be. It was really thin, I didn't even taste the queso sauce could barely see it as well. But the Pina Colada was bomb I mean BOOM!!! THE ONLY REASON THEY GOT A 4 STAR!!!"
