"This kroger is my neighborhood kroger. i used to love shopping here. F u leisa. I had interviewed for a PART. TIME. position here. just to dispense groceries and pick groceries. a job a blind deaf rat could do. i got turned down. why? because i have a child. i had the exact same availability as my cousin who applied here. the ONLY difference between the two of us? i have a son and she doesn’t. even though we both offered the EXACT same hours, she got a job offer and i didn’t. she has NO management or retail experience. i have ran an entire department for years. it seems as though i could get a lawyer and sue for discrimination based on how this Kroger runs their business. what’s entirely sad for this Kroger is how amazing of a worker i am and how they’re missing out to an extreme amount on my work ethic all because they REFUSE to follow the law and hire women with kids instead of waiting it out for a high schooler they can exploit for less taxes"

"Locking people out at 5:35 Christmas Eve, when they close at 6pm. Almost two dozen people still trying to grab something last minute. We just needed gift cards but they said no. 4 employees just standing outside smoking and laughing. Odd scene."

"Tonight I needed to go to Kroger for a few things just real fast before they closed. Little did I know, that wouldn’t happen. Myself and a bunch of other customers were stopped at the door by an employee named Jasper who told us all the store was closed. It was only 10:40pm and the store closes at 11pm. The employee was standing in the door way, holding the door so no one could get in. There was a night shift employee who was trying to get in to clock in and he was trying to tell the employee who was standing in the door way to let him by and she wasn’t letting him at first and then there was a customer who was leaving the store and needed to get out so she opened the door just a tiny bit to let him by and he had to squeeze through the small space. All because they were closing the store early. Then another employee comes up to the door and yells out the door that they are closed. Everyone was so confused because we couldn’t believe someone would actually do something like this. They got what they wanted, though. We all left. I guess they just make up their own hours and close the store when they feel like they are done for the day. That’s okay. I’m absolutely never going there again. Meijer is better anyway."

"My first impression of this Kroger was nice! It was clean and very well stocked. I thought the gentleman at the self checkout was very friendly and had a bright smile. He greeted us immediately and told us if we needed any help then he would be glad to help us! His name was Nate. Then all of the sudden out of nowhere this older woman with blonde hair pulled him aside and in front of everyone , she began criticizing him of the way he stood! She went on and on! She also told him to keep his hands out of his pockets. I couldn’t believe she was saying this in front of customers! I thought he was amazing and made my experience a wonderful one until I witnessed such poor behavior from a manager."
