"I found this wonderful family owned and operatef diner. My husband and I stopped to have breakfast with our grandson because to quote my grandson "I am starving!". The food tasted excellent. Their sausage gravy is as good as mine and that is saying volumes because I am a fantastic old school cook. The atmosphere was like having breakfast with family and the wait staff was friendly and kept my coffee cup hot and filled without asking. Our grandson ate everything on his plate and part of mine...lol We plan to stop back for lunch next time we are in town."
"We were in the Kenton area for a family reunion and stayed at a BnB in town. We did an online search for breakfast restaurants, choose this one and were VERY pleasantly surprised!! "Small town" USA!! Locally owned and managed - VERY nice change from the franchised restaurants that we normally see. Very good food, extremely reasonable prices, excellent service. Will definitely stop in again if we are ever back in Kenton!!"
"I was in town for business, and I stopped in here on a whim. The parking lot should have been my first hint that not only was this place popular, but I was gonna get a darn good meal. I ordered the Midway Mess. It was a three egg omelette, you can order as such or two eggs, and I'm not at all being facetious when I say it was the best omelette I have ever had. Whether you are transient or local, if you haven't stopped into this restaurant, you need to! If the bar "Cheers" served breakfast, it would be this place. The staff knew the majority of the customers that walked in, and even as a stranger they made me feel right at home. Thank you staff, and owners of Midway Diner. Keep up the excellent work! I will absolutely be back."
"*Hidden Gem in Kenton, Oh. I visited here on my birthday to take on their "Monster Farmer's Omelette Challenge". The food was "AMAZING", the service was "AWESOME" and the atmosphere was "PRICELESS"!!! Keep up the great work guys!"
