"Amscot has some of Thee rudest employees. I always have a problem cashing checks at Amscot, but for some reason everytime i go into one i feel like a criminal because i don't cash my checks right away. An for some reason that's suspicious. Then the clerk says why didn't you cash it within 31 days that it states on the check. 30 minutes later after the verification line closes she says come back. In the morning. I ask her whats the void if not cashed before 90 days listed. She like oh. I thought it said 31.... i hate Amscot. I took it straight to my bank and deposited it with no problem. Sucks cause i was just trying to be quick about it but quick doesn't always mean convenient. guess it will be 3 more yrs before i grace one again."

"I recently went in do do a transaction and on ky eay out i dropped a $20 and 2 $5 dollar bills. To my amazement one of the girls found it and I got it back. Amazing customer service and customer care shown in this random act of kindness! Thank you Amacot! RGR"

"I Usually Do Not Write Reviews , Although I Judge Some Places Off Of Their Reviews , And I Hope Whoever Plans To Attend This Amscot Reads This Review First And Does Not Need To Encounter The Terrible Service That I Experienced . So Today , I Planned On Going To Get A Money Order , And I’ve Almost Always Had Good Customer Service And Everything Goes As Planned , But That Clearly Wasnt The Case Today . I Got Asked The Usual Questions For That , But It Was Still Sort Of Odd , I Then Got Questioned , “What is this money for “ ? “Where did you get this money from” ? “What’s your employer” ? And This All After Me Giving My Identification , Adress As Well And Phone Number , Meanwhile I’m An Established Customer At This Location . After I Was Asked Where The Money Came From , I asked for my money to be returned, Went To Ace Check Cashing , Where I Got Exceptional Customer Service , No Questions Asked , Nothing Required , I Requested A Money Order And That’s Exactly What I Got .This Is Irrelevant , But Amscot Has Gotten So Darn Cheap , That They Do Not Give Out The Tootsie Rolls Anymore , You Have To Ask For Them , Smh . Overall , Amscot Has Greatly Disappointed Me Today. Im Not Saying To Not Go To This Amscot Or Boast Ace Check Cashing , But Remember This Incident Next Time You Attend ."
