"This place and the staff are incredible. I've been twice and both times were lovely. The first time I went in I was completely clueless about what I needed to get and Paul was so kind and guided me through the entire store as he explained everything to me. I booked a class with him that same day and the second time I went in was today for said class. The class was a blast. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed it so much and we love our new belts. Paul was a great teacher and made the learning experience very enjoyable. We'll be coming back many more times in the future."

"I had the pleasure of speaking to a man named Paul at this location in addition to a very kind lady at the front (I unfortunately forgot her name. She had great hair though). The lady at the front assisted getting an item for me before I arrived and Paul proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes talking to me about every aspect of my leather work project (a boot heel in this case). He provided a variety of options and methods to achieve the results I wanted. After talking to him and buying the materials, I was able to make my boot heel shine like it was brand new again. Incredible location with a surprisingly knowledgeable and helpful array of staff. I'd personally recommend the employees as some of the most helpful, and the store itself as the most extensive in the area. Thanks so much for providing a quality customer experience with great prices that actually BEAT Amazon."

"Best customer service I have ever had! The staff goes above and beyond in every way to answer your questions, give you advice and help you work on any project you have. Becca, Greg, Paul and Vernon especially are the best! I have made several custom gifts here and Tandy has a table you can sit at anytime to work on your projects and use every tool they have. The prices for classes are incredibly reasonable. Definitely check them out!"

"First timer here, taking a belt making class with my wife. I can't wait to get back! From the outstanding customer service from Becca, to the excellent instruction (and entertaining stories) from Paul, this will NOT be a once in a lifetime experience. And as fun as it was, that wasn't the intent of the day. We really learned craftsmanship at Tandy, and came away with beautiful handmade belts."

"I have to be honest and admit that this store and every single associate is absolutely amazing. They provide great classes for people that want to learn about the leather craft and are stocked with everything you need. The patience, knowledge, experience and willingness to share is so pure, hard to describe. I even took my teen daughter to learn how to make a pouch and she loved it!!! Look at the photo, from bare leather to a beautiful zippered wristlet in only couple of hours and at very little cost. We drove an hour each direction and will do it again and again. I was a bit hesitant to write this review as would like to keep this store as a little secret, but this is simply too good not to share. Update: November 2022, took another two classes over the Thanksgiving break and again loved, loved, loved every single second. Greg and Billy go above and beyond explaining the process, making sure all is covered and your ideas come to the finish line. I'm attaching the photos of the trays my daughter and I did this weekend. This is by far the best, the most friendliest store in the entire Tampa Bay area."
