"I'm so so happy i went to Tops to get my machine repaired! I knew it would be a tough job when i started calling around to get my thrifted 1949 singer simanco looked at. I found the machine dilapidated and in rough shape. Tops was the only one willing to take a look at it due to its age and condition. I left it with the kindly gentleman, Warren, who was so professional and kind. He called me within a couple days with the work order and quote. He was so understanding of my budget. Understandably, it took three weeks for the antique parts it needed to arrive and he called me as soon as the machine was ready. I'm so extremely happy with it and its perfect!!! "Warren at Tops was so nice to deal with. I had him overhaul my very old Singer sewing machine, including a new foot pedal. He did a beautiful job. Then, I had another issue that was separate, and he honored the fixing, under the original overhaul cost. In the past, he had fixed 2 vacuums for me, which were good jobs and polite interactions. "This shop is a bit of a distance for me but definitely worth the drive up from Miami. Initially I was looking to upgrade or service and sell my 12 year old Brother 6600 starter sewing machine. It never quite worked right and always gave me problems. I had the machine serviced locally a few years back but the issues persisted. Warren serviced my Brother 6600 a few months back. I just got around to sewing on it and could not believe the drastic performance of this 12 year old budget sewing machine of mine. Warren restored the machine better than original condition. It is now a solid powerful workhorse of a machine. All of the previous mechanical issues have been resolved. Thank You!!! About the shop... it is a clean, beautiful, well stocked shop with top of the line sewing machines, embroidery, sergers and vacuum cleaners, parts and so much more. "After talking with so many shops and most of them being rude, I found Tops Sewing. Warren was very nice on the phone, and very knowledgeable. I took a 2 hour trip to have one machine serviced, and pick up my industrial serger. He set it up and explained everything thoroughly. Even loaded the serger up in my truck!I was also able to order a machine that got shipped to my house from Tops. I will definitely be making more trips here to see him! Cant wait to buy my next machine from him!"
