"My analysis of this gentleman is that he is honest and reasonably priced for what I asked him to do. I brought in a pendant for a gold repair as it had worn thin from 30 years of sliding around on my necklace, so he repaired a crack and built up the loop to give it another couple decades of necklace sliding with no issue. I’m sure the amount of gold he used was nearly in consequence, but the skill was not. I’m sure this is a basic repair, but considering that I don’t have any gold to solder in place or the skills to make it aesthetically pleasing, the $30 bill was very reasonable. Likewise, the maintenance bill on my Rolex was quite acceptable; even though he sends them out to an authorized repairman, and I’m sure there is a slight mark up for him handling the negotiations, the bill was very reasonable compared to other locations, and I was comfortable leaving the timepiece with him. He is also a very friendly and personable individual that I enjoy taking a moment to visit with. Someone who takes the time to chat with you is worth just as much as the trade skill, in my opinion, and I appreciate that as much as I do the repairs. I have decided he is my go-to guy, and I think you should too."
