"Update: Just recently on 17 Nov 2021 the FedEx driver left a package at gate 3 again that has no address and signs posted stating NOT to leave packages at that location but to use Main Gate Only. The instructions were clearly on the package. He left the package at Gate 3 anyway; and, I reported it as UNDELIVERED! He failed to follow delivery instructions! I am not responsible for packages incorrectly delivered. FedEx was called and they said they would investigate. So, far that investigation has gone no where. The incorrectly delivered package is still at gate 3 on 29 Nov 2021. When the second replacement package came on 23 Nov 2021, he found the 911 address but instead of delivering to back porch/patio as instructed he dropped the 89 lb package inside the open Main Gate. He left, drove past the incorrectly delivered package, and there it sits since 17 Nov...12 days. I waited 4 hours from 7 am to 11 am to confront him. I left at 11 am and he showed up at 11:08 am!!! I was ticket off. I wanted to know why he dropped a package at a location clearly marked not to leave packages, and was he going to return the incorrectly delivered package. I have called FedEx and the company numerous times to no avail. The law states that if a package is incorrectly delivered, say to a neighbor, you have no obligation to tell your neighbor that you have the package or give them the package. You can keep it without paying for it. Therefore, why would FedEx deliver a package where they are not directed to deliver it? All FedEx offices have one phone number. There is no way to contact any local FedEx office or driver. They are totally insulated from the public. FedEx did admit to me that drivers are assigned delivery zones meaning the same driver should always be delivering your packages and not some random driver each trip. Key point is: Always require a signature for your packages. They never tell you that. Also, register on FedEx which gives you control over delivery instructions. They never tell you that. Plus you can track your package and get updates as to its location by registering your name and address on FedEx.com. They never tell you that. From previous encounter: There is no Fed Ex sign outside Walgreen and no Fed Ex sign on the doors. It is a pickup and drop off site just started per Walgreen manager. All but one Fed Ex driver seem to be able to read and follow directions. I have 3 gates and a small walk in gate to the yard. All have signs that ask for packages to be delivered to the main gate and not to any other gate because those closed gates are not used. The Fed Ex driver likes to deliver to the last closed unmonitored, unused gate because the driver is going 50 mph in a 35 mph street. Notices that the house has been passed by, backs up to the last gate, throws the package anywhere without reading the 2 signs stating to not leave packages at that gate but leave them at the main gate which he passed. Then he goes pass the main gate a second time. It take 2 or 3 days to see that the stupid idiot left a package at gate 3. It makes my blood boil that the idiot subjected my package to theft! If I could get my hands on him I would slap the hell out of this stupid idiot who cannot follow directions!"

"It took me 10 days to actually talk to a human. She said the package that was to be delivered on the 24th is in the process of being sent back to the supplier. The driver never called me for directions. It's funny UPS didn't have any problems finding me with a different package 3 days later. SHAME ON FEDEX"
