"I will never rent from CASCO again! If you rent a piece of equipment, the owners expect you to buy parts if you want it to work properly. I rented a chainsaw and after a few minutes returned to the store to get a sharp chain. The clerk and mechanic told me they don't sharpen the chains; it is rented as is. I purchased a file to try and sharpen the chain but the chain was so burned it wouldn't hold an edge so I had to buy a new chain. Once the new sharp chain was installed, it worked fine. Even though the saw had a Ready to Rent tag, it was a joke as the saw was not properly tuned and the oil reservoir was not filled. When I returned the saw this morning and complained to the clerk about the chain he told me the owners won't have the chains sharpened and" if you want a sharp chain they expect you to buy one!""
