"After a week of waiting for Lowe’s to stop dragging their feet on our quote for carpeting one room, they finally got back to us with a range of $1581-$1991. We decided that was too expensive and called someone else. The guy was prompt to come measure the room, a week later, hadn’t heard anything, so we called and he said he was still working on it. Another ten days had gone by with zero communication, so we decided to try Georgia Floors Direct. We were in the store less than a minute before Anthony came over to greet us and ask if we needed help. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating and after explaining the situation, he said he’d do what he could to get an installer out asap. The installer (Chuck) called that same evening and was out at 8am the next morning to measure the room and back at 9:30am to install the carpet. It took him and his father about 3 hours, they were pleasant and fun to chat with, while working efficiently. It took less than 24 hours from the time we walked into GFD, to the time we had a new, beautiful carpet in our bedroom, for an affordable price. We will continue using this company for any future flooring needs and will always recommend to anyone needing these services.
