"Our carpet was 6 years old and needed replacement. Seeing a new flooring company opening a store in freeport came right when we needed new carpet. We stopped in and explained what we were looking for and left a detailed drawing from the original house plans. We were given a business card for whoever does the estimates on carpet and told he would be in touch in "a day or two." 5 weeks passed and no one reached out to us to even give us an estimate. We contacted another company that quickly gave us an estimate and scheduled the work three weeks out. When we went back to FF and explained what had happened, there was no apology but rather a "so what" kind of attitude. Oh sure, everyone is busy right now but when things slow down it will be a very different story. All we would have needed was to be told they were not interested in doing the work and we would have looked elsewhere, as we ended up doing anyway. So so SO many contractors have that "we dont care" attitude now. There was a time when they had to EARN each customers business."
