"My family and I went out fishing with Captain Mike and I had an absolute blast. He took us right out to where the fish had been biting the previous day. And, when very little was happening out there, we went to another couple spots and eventually switched up some tackle. Mike baited all of our hooks and was willing to cast the line for us. I felt like I was never left without a fishing pole in my hand for more than about 30 second while he worked through pole after pole to keep four people fishing. Yeah, but did you catch anything? Most certainly did. My wife got on a speckled trout early that was too small to keep. After catching another speckled trout, a catfish and, believe it or not a puffer fish, Mike helped me hook into a keepable redfish. Then he cleaned it up and bagged it for me right at the dock! I cooked redfish last night that had been swimming earlier that morning. It was terrific! I'm very happy we chose to fish with Captain Mike!"

"Had a great experience with Emerald Ghost this week! Captain Mike was ready to go in the morning, all equipment and bait prepared, boat was spotless and he took us quickly to a spot where we started reeling them in! We fished several other points and areas that were great too. He knows just how long to stay on a spot and when to move on. Mike provided a great, safe experience. He is happily willing and expects to do all of the work, if that’s what you prefer. He will bait the line and even cast it for you. All you have to do is reel in the fish and have fun! When you catch a fish, he handles it properly and will set you up for a photo if you like. Mike has a great personality and strikes a great balance between letting you have fun and focus on the fishing but also happy to chat and answer questions if you have them. His patience, experience, and ability to multi-task was evident and appreciated. A little storm developed and Mike made great decisions to keep us dry, away from lightning and still able to fish! If you are staying around Navarre, Fort Walton, Destin, Pensacola, Perdido Bay, or otherwise and searching for an inshore fishing guide you can trust, you won’t find a better guide than Mike with Emerald Ghost."
