"There are a number of "Visitor Centers" at the beginning of the Florida Keys trek, but most of these are deceptive and are attempts to get you to sign up for tours. We stopped at this one and it was no different, except that the people managing the place were very friendly and provided information we needed without offering us additional tours. Very helpful people here! Stop here if you have questions or need help!... and might as well get a tour here if you want one."

They went out of their way to help us, by booking lodging and tours for us. They made us feel right at home. As soon as you see this little A-Frame building - "Don't drive by , Drive in"..
