"Vicky and Jake were amazing guides!!! Vicky was very patient and funny and helped me through my first day, and Jake was super nice and instrumental in helping me find/spot all the wildlife!! This was my first time diving in the keys and I can without a doubt, I WILL BE BACK!!! Both to the Florida keys and to using Key Largo Scuba Diving as my dive shop/excursion guides. I got the BEST footage and pictures of the animals. I’m OBSESSED!! "I had such a great experience getting my open water cert with Key Largo Scuba Diving. First of all, the ability to find info, check prices and book everything right on the spot on their website was a major plus for me, and something I didn’t find at most scuba shops even across different states when I was researching. Then there’s Vicky. She is such a great instructor; she is patient, informative and very flexible when it comes to teaching everyone, from those who breeze through the lessons as well those who struggle a bit. I saw her take care of all of us and make sure that everyone understands the concepts and performs the skills safely until those become second nature. I also had the pleasure of spending time with Rob, he is one of the owners and he is an open book when it comes to teaching you about the equipment and any questions that I had about my training game plan. He was very generous with his time. And if due to weather you’re presented with the option to do your training at the Jules Undersea Lodge (because rescheduling would have been a bigger disruption for me), don't overlook the opportunity because not only it’s a cool place, but I feel like it made the training so much easier from a practical standpoint -it’s a controlled environment AND you get more time to go over and practice your skills than you would if you were to go open water on a boat. As it turned out, that was a huge positive to get to practice what you learned with all the extra time that you get at Jules. And sure, you may not see a lot of pretty fish and corals while you’re there, but who knows maybe you might get to swim with a manatee too!"
