"All of their hosts bring such great local knowledge that everyone in these small groups has the opportunity to really immerse themselves in the local culture without feeling completely outside their comfort zone. It is so great to have the local host, whether was George in Greece, Pino in Italy or Jian in the Philippines, make sure that we were well taken care of and truly get a sense of what these cultures are really like. They also are great at pointing guests in a direction of things that they may want to experience on their own. I have done so many things that I never thought that I would ever experience, from learning how to make pasta from an Italian Nona, to jumping off a cliff into the most amazing cerulean pool, or having cocktails overlooking the Acropolis. Literally every day on a Travel Raro trip is full of the most amazing sights and experiences. My wife and I had never really done any sort of group trips or vacations before we started with Raro, and now I can’t imagine what my trips would be like without one these amazing host’s sharing their knowledge with us. Raro has really spoiled us!"

"I have been on three trips with Raro. Each trip has been to a different location, and each trip has been a thoroughly enjoyable grand experience and culturally educational. As someone that is not a group traveler, I was apprehensive about the group format. Those concerns were gone after the first day. The hosts do a phenomenal job with engagement. The groups are small. Tours are intimate. Food is great. And best of all, I have always managed to meet interesting people who enhanced, rather than detracted from the experience. The trips are very relaxed. If one does not feel like joining any event or meal, there is no pressure to do so. That said, Raro does a very good job setting up experiences and meals one wants to join. I am looking forward to my next trip scheduled in June 2024"
